Went to doctor to get his assertion that the hospital would treat me without charging IN WRITING. He refused to do this.

He did provide antibiotics and anti-depressants.

I promised to do to the hospital tomorrow, as it is highly unlikely the leg will heal without hospitalisation. I'm thinking tomorrow morning. Fewer cars and trucks are likely to be bearing down on me around 6 a.m. rather than at rush hour on Friday.

Because I am insane and because I already miss you guys, I went out and splurged, buying ten books (twelve, really, as one book was three books in one). I will have plenty to read in the hospital, that is for damned sure. This has to be one of the most literate and literary RPGs I've ever seen.

I am still not happy about going but I am feeling a lot calmer. Must be the prayers.

I am glad. Really glad. And I'll be in hospital too, think. :)

They may charge you, but if your life is in danger, no hospital can turn you away because you cannot pay. And yeah, ulcerous leg wounds tend to like being in hospital.

I'll be back when you will, and I'll catch you then. And when you feel morally and spiritually akin to a mad prophetess, you can do plots for her and Peter for when we return.

I am so glad to hear that everything is getting squared away. If the hospital gives you a hard time, just get Austenianly snarky with them. You will feel so much better, I promise. It works like a charm.

Enjoy your books and mend quickly. There will be much rejoicing and letting down of the metaphorical hair when you and Selkie return.
