I just... it's utterly perfect. Please, please read it, and appreciate it, and feedback it. Cross-dressing and sweetness and it's gorgeous.
‘Bartleby,’ she said again, and then she turned her head and looked up at him with wide golden eyes, and his new heart skipped in his chest.
‘Fool.’
The tawny head shook once. ‘Amber. In this guise I am the Lady Amber. Have a care, my angel. To her that word is an insult.’
