Really, this thread was just an excuse to get all our characters absolutely sloshed. Just so you know.
Crowley comes in, and leaves a note for Glorfindel. He is approached by the ever-hilarious Barbie, is bemused, and offers to laminate her.
Mogget, 'Skandra, Tonks and Aziraphale arrive in short order. However, Mogget quickly wigs out upon seeing his sister, and scrams. 'Skandra, Tonks and Aziraphale discuss the Prophecy and being Crowley's Angels, until Bernard sends over a bottle of 1992 Tattinger champagne, compliments of the house.
Bernard is beckoned over, and explains his rather generous gift to the angel, whom he then proceeds to thoroughly embarrass. It's beautiful. On the whole, however, apart from the odd conversational faux-pas, the two get on quite well, and soon end up discussing art, and how it relates to blowing things up. Aziraphale, predictably, is an angel, and Bernard manages to find a tiny bit of self-redemption. Crowley and Bernard also discuss Bernard's... predilection, but from rather a different perspective. Fleur arrives, and is hilarious.
Tonks explains Auror-dom to Bernard, who cracks me the fuck up. The two are rather touchingly optimistic, and raise their shot glasses in a toast to brighter days.
Crowley is utterly demonic, and convinces 'Skandra to try her first shot of tequila. Despite the throat-burny, she still manages to comfort Tonks and the returning Mogget.
Meanwhile, in a thread documenting their descent into drunkenness, Crowley does his part in embarrassing Aziraphale. Wilde is quoted, before the topic moves at light speed from the day's nefarious/benevolent deeds to the angel's choice of words, to the annoying-ness of the Metatron, to pincushions, to thwarty theme tunes, eventually culminating in a sequence wherein the ultra-geeky muns manage to make movie, soundtrack and webcomic injokes AT THE SAME TIME. Eventually, it all turns a little fuzzy, and they head home.

Bernard's been having far too much fun lately. It's criminal.
