First Summary: Aphrodite
Aphrodite enters with a description of dubious morality and excessive length. Thread is divided into four conversations: Desire, Fleur, Ares, Anubis. This is the order they will be summarized in.
Desire comes to say hello, and it is revealed that its been "positively minutes" since they last were in company. Desire exclaims that is "Too long". There is sickening amount of flirting. Desire makes a bad pun and claims to be humbled. 'Dite responds by pointing out that what she wants is rather up to the Endless. Desire asks for advice. Specifically, advice on getting Delirum a husband/lover/whatever. Last I heard, the suggested victi...candidates were Jack Sparrow and Holden. 'Dite is shocked, but pleased to be asked to help. Desire suggests she keeps her looks away from, oh, Reg for instance and the talk briefly gets disturbing. 'Dite is reassured, and Desire heads off to go commit P.D.A. with Reg.
Fleur eyes the gorgeous beautiful pretty redhead at the bar and asks if they know each other. 'Dite says no, she wouldn't forget a face like Fluer's. Fleur wonders if they are related. 'Dite kisses her (on the cheek!). Fleur gets adorably flustered, and informs 'Dite that her breasts are too big. 'Dite suggests starting an orgy together. Fluer speaks of the joys of monogamy. Sort of. Di-ogamy? Fleur explains Milliways, and, via babbling the loss of the bar. The question "are you here for business or pleasure?" gets the answer "Yes" and Fleur begins fighting the sex. 'Dite pouts about lack of Fleur-interest, and Fleur retaliates by asking her to put her breast back in her top. 'Dite calls Fleur conservative. Fleur explains being worried about getting stuck as a Veela again. 'Dite reassures her that she can't remember any involuntary shape changing in her past lovers, and they decide to continue the conversation later.
Ares comes over to re-spark the old flame. There is some banter, with light flirtation. 'Dite, however, responds to "miss me" with a declaration of cheerful inability to miss anyone. Ares gets suggestive, 'Dite brushes him off. Ares asks about her husband. 'Dite is surprisingly fond-sounding. Ares suggests she leaves him. 'Dite makes an extremely surprising statement. Ares decides to persuade her by kissing her, without invitation. He is informed that she is not a possession and that she wants space. He walks off, and she rolls her eyes.
Anubis. Oh my Cow. It starts with a nod, and a kiss is returned. Anubis asks if he should kiss her as well; she informs him only if he wants to. He decides, in the interest of balance, to blow a kiss back to her. Foolish god. He makes it onto her list, and attempts small talk. At this point it all sounds rather explicitly sexual. Every last bit of it. 'Dite pouts that there is no gossip to be had. Anubis points out that she's heard all his gossip, its out of date. He is exceedingly closed mouthed. 'Dite informs him that its hard to get anything from him, using a simile. Anubis takes it too literally, and 'Dite calls him charming. At this point, Anubis is feeling a little off-kilter, and fidgets. Due to altercations up in the Ares thread, 'Dite stands up.
She admits to helping Desire, and spreads the word that its matchmaking. Anubis wishes her good luck, and she asks if he knows anyone who should be introduced to Delirum. He responds with a negative which sounds like "everyone is paired up" but was supposed to be "everyone I know is crazy". At the apparent "everyone is paired up" 'Dite pouts mightily. Anubis is feeling out of his depth. She asks if she's bothering him, he responds in the negative and wonders which "him" she's looking at.
An interesting observation isn't made out loud. She asks if she can sit with (or on) him. He's far too chivalrous for his own good. She sits on him, and asks about the bar. The rules are explained. And pouted about (but she doesn't fall out of her dress again). Anubis almost sighs, but doesn't. 'Dite smells his fur, and it Anubis' brain is reduced to a state of uselessness. 'Dite continues to be herself, and is asked if this is a good idea. She dodges the question, and is informed that he doesn't want her to stop. However, he doesn't want to lose more. There is pouting. 'Dite likes to pout.
She asks what was lost, the response shifts her from "sex" to "comfort" track. mentally. She ceases to bedevil the Egyptian, and attempts to comfort him. It seems to work, a bit. Things get morose. A little more angst, and then Anubis leaves.
Starting at pretty much exactly the post where things stop being explicitly sexual Ares comes over again. He's all like "Rar, my woman!" and she's all like "Fuck that, byotch", only they're both horribly polite about it. Anubis is oblivious and says "Hello". 'Dite tells Ares to go away. He says its Anubis' table and no. As Anubis has gone, she storms off in a huff.
As a side note: for some reason Ares icons freak me out. I don't know why.
