Due to recent canon developments Zach Addy (Bones) will be on hiatus until I can stop screaming and work something out. That or he'll be retired instead.

Right, see. I could see if he was tricked into it (kind of--he's hard and easy to trick at the same time. But it'd have to be someone who understood how he saw the world because how you trick most people =/= how you trick Zach) as long as it didn't involve him killing someone. I'm not sure I could see him blackmailed into it, because generally speaking blackmail never works out in the end of the blackmailed. ALSO HE WOULD BE ANALYZING THE REMAINS. AND HE KNOWS HOW GOOD BRENNAN IS.

The actor wanted off the show, I think, which was part of why it was done. But man, could they have gotten him off the show in better ways (or just handled this way much better) or what! *facepalm*

I just. They could have rewritten that last episode. And have it been, like, a killer who was focusing on the good stars who seemed to have a thing going on with the "agent"--like, a jealous singer. And have had Zach go up and become a victim and die.

Or they could have had Zach get a letter from some place in California going BE OUR FORENSIC ANTHROPOLOGIST. And Zach go eeeh. And Brennan have gone DO IT. And Zach have gone IT IS A GREAT HONOR. And Brennan have gone YOU'RE A GREAT GRAD STUDENT FORENSIC ANTHROPOLOGIST. And Zach have gone I WILL GO AND DO IT.

I'm not sure about that - I read a TVGuide interview and he just said it wasn't his choice, he was "following the fate of the character", and he might even show up again.

In which case, I still like my 'EvilGeniusZack' better than how it turned out.
