Whee, had fun last night. Computer decided to be crappy, though.
Gollum starts the evening out by making a slip-n-slide of the floor in his haste to get far, far away from the lake and its fish, which defy the natural order of the world. Snow stops over to say hi, and Gollum rants about fish. Snow suggests that he stay away from the lake, which is not an option, and Gollum remembers boats. He is vaguely troubled by the memory and says goodnight to Snow.
In another thread, Val talks to Gollum, and tries to calm him down. She goes so far as to put her hand on his shoulder, which shocks Gollum into silence, and gives him fish. He offers to pay her back, but she refuses saying that she likes to help. Gollum remembers the last time he tried to help someone and becomes sullen. Val assures him that people who don't accept his help suck, and at this point my computer decided to crash and force me off to bed before I could reply. Sorry, Val-mun.
