Brief announcement: Liz has at least temporarily reverted to wearing her gowns in lieu of the pants she's been wearing. She is decidedly unhappy with Bartleby, and as it was his suggestion that she try wearing pants... well, she ain't having any of it. Other than possibly administering a beatdown later, she wants no association with him - including his ruddy fashion sense.
