I'm going to answer as I've given up on sleep tonight. I'm oddly at the end of a stage of learning as I finish my masters and onto the next one.
Next semester I'm going to be working part time as I try to find a full time job and I'd love to find a course to be active and learn something. My dream would be a dance class but I'm curious about yoga or tai chi.
Any time I'm introduced to someone at my new job, the introducer inevitably adds, "And she speaks Chinese!"
This is despite my continued explanations that I haven't taken a class is over two years now and haven't had anyone to practice with, so my abilities there are really pretty pathetic.
...so now I'm reviewing a lot of Chinese and waiting for my mom to ship my old text books. Just in case the next person to get that introduction actually does speak Mandarin and expects me to respond.
Oh, and I'm still knitting! I don't think you ever become an expert in knitting, there's always some wonky new thing to try.
I've just acquired a book on soda-making, including the process of 'make the flavor syrup, add the water and yeast, now sit back and wait three weeks' instead of just dumping syrup into seltzer. This should be fun. Also, I'll be doing brake work on my new bike (well, my recently acquired used bike) for the first time in the next few days, and probably taking another stab at cheese making this weekend. So that probably counts, right?
I took the first year of Mandarin three different times at three different schools and I haven't had a class in a decade. I think I can still count to four.
I seem to have signed up for a podcast meant for beginning surgery students. Given that my medical skills stop shortly after bleeding = bad I think this counts.
I have been making a lot of beaded wrap bracelets and such, and watching a lot of jewelry making tutorials on Youtube. I have also become and EXPERT in procrastination over the summer, though I start work again today (it's the first day of school), so I'll have to give up my pro status and go back to being an amateur at it.
Heh, that sounds about like my Arabic. Except that people haven't been introducing me with that appended, thankfully! (Once upon a time I could get around in it, in a stilted and accented way. That was ten years ago. Yeah.)
Well, once the semester starts, I will once again be taking Japanese as a hobby. Thus, I really really need to get back to studying now, before the first class comes around and I learn just how much I forgot over the summer. Um.
I think that's actually it, at the moment! I'm working on a cosplay project, and I'm not an expert at any of that, but I've also been doing cosplay projects for years now on a figure-it-out-as-you-go basis, so I'm not really learning anything new here so much as just trying new combinations of things.
Well, I've been given some closed captioning projects at work! I pretty much know what I'm doing, but I'm still new to it (at least, to doing it properly), so it's kind of learn-as-I-go.
I've been taking tai chi classes at the library. I took it when I was in college but this is a different style, so I might as well have started from scratch.
I've also been learning about cakepops and how to make them super pretty.
I've just recently decided to take this semester off from academic pursuits, in favor of fun things. So I'm looking into what Improv Classes would cost. Also possibly thinking about getting that EMT I've been eying.
Oh, and apparently my local library has a Rosetta Stone-esque program available streaming, so I might be picking up Spanish.
Thinking about taking Spanish because it's so prevalent in California and I've wanted to learn for a while.
I'm also catching up on working out with brutal sessions at the gym. I will work up to bench pressing 150 lbs. I will, dammit! I'm working with a trainer who's a stickler for form and it's amazing what the smallest correction in form can make in the amount of weight you can lift.
My other goal is to do a forty-five second cobra. I shall attempt that today.
You know Arabic? You should totally help me find usable screenshots of Amascut's PB!
:P
Eh, if I had money, I could use help finding DVDs or something less than legal and getting the screenshot myself, but... money and me aren't on talking terms right now.
I feel so lucky hardly anyone knows I studied German. Most of that knowledge has evacuated my brain.
Because I wish to employ the nuclear option on the spammer on the milliwiki. Because some days, reverting and redirecting spam gets annoying. But when I finally write something to take care of the spam, I have the feeling I am going to miss doing it myself.
Dang, it seems all I do is deal with spam. Spam on the wiki, spam on LJ, spam in the games I play, and I am going back to school to learn how to fight spam more efficiently. Maybe not more effectively, but efficiently is good!

That's my take, I'm not a programmer and found Python made more sense to me starting from not a lot of knowledge. Good luck.
