Scorp is still working on the dating thing right now. But, if he found the right person and he wanted to, he'd go for it with the proposing and whatnot. Because he does want to have the marriage and a family. Not because he wants to give his parents grandchildren, or his grandparents great-grandchildren, or carry on a line, but because he wants it.

First all, I can't believe it's finally gonna be wedding day! Wish we could be there.

Marriage exists in all my pups' canons, and all are currently single.

Knox spent a lot of his life reflecting the mixed feelings about marriage that far too many American men have. He was probably the sort of guy who would say, after meeting a woman, "there goes the future ex-Mrs Knox." Then he met Rapunzel, and grew up. The funny thing is that he would marry her in a heartbeat if her life were anything like his. And he might yet someday ask, though that whole "Fabletown is at war" thing's sobered him up a bit.

Kirk is married to his career and was married to his ship, and can't quite see this is why he's never married. We know from canon there are at least two women he was close to proposing to - the mysterious Antonia from Generations, and an unknown blonde referenced at the start of the series that many fans think might be Carol Marcus. He's really a bit disappointed and even surprised at the lack of marriage in his life. (For the record, some of the novels say he WAS married at some point, and it was a mistake.) At heart, Jim is a romantic. But also a captain, and that trumps everything else.

Gibbs thinks marriage is for other men, same as things like family and church and law and sobriety. He does think, though, that if you have kids you should consider marrying their mother.

Charlie's love for Myra Fermin notwithstanding, he never thought about marriage. It wasn't something for a man with his careers. It was too conventional. It wasn't something he ever saw close up. It's something that doesn't really solve any problems. Sometimes Charlie is a cynic.

For Cyborg, marriage is an abstract idea, something he think he could do someday, but it's outside his experience.

Trolls don't seem to have formal marriages that we see or hear off--they believe in a One True Pairing (or triad) for each quadrant, but it is more of a "know it when you see it" kind of thing. There seems to be a lot of shenanigans in between, for the adult trolls we hear of, although the kids like many kids tend to think it is all about finding your One Matesprit/Kismesis/Moirail and immediately settling into an eternal relationship. Most of the legal/societal rationales for civil marriage don't exist.

That doesn't mean there might not be ceremonies for those who are sure they found their serendipity-ordained OTP, but if so we never hear about them that I can recall.

My current pups are all unmarried, although Medic is divorced.

Gordon and Alyx are engaged; given the lack of an official civil government in their world, and the fact that neither of them is interested in a religious ceremony, when they get to the point where they can have a public ceremony they're going to have Barney Calhoun officiate.

Arcade Gannon is gay, but Fallout 2 has a scenario that indicates fairly strongly that same-sex marriages are possible- namely, if you get caught sleeping with a particular farmer's daughter, her father will force you at gunpoint to marry her, even if you are a woman. Given that another gay character, Major Knight, indicates that the NCR military frowns on homosexuality and is 'more conservative' than other organizations in the Mojave area, I don't know if the NCR central government recognizes such marriages. Either way it's irrelevant, because Arcade's romantically unattached and generally of the opinion that 'lovers make poor confidantes'. I'm pretty sure he's been too romantically burned to want to even try.

I've millicanoned it that in Vault 101 people were expected to marry young and have kids young, mostly based on the Vault messaging systems pushing the message "PROCREATION IS YOUR CIVIC DUTY!" in exactly the same way as "SEEK THE SUNSHINE OF FRIENDSHIP!" and "THE OUTSIDE WORLD CAN NEVER HURT YOU!". (I've also assumed that there's a small but well-tended sperm bank for the use of both women married to sterile men and women who would rather die than marry.) Ellen, being apprenticed to the Vault chaplain by her GOAT results, was expected to find someone to marry once she finished her training. Reverend Avellone wanted his last act as chaplain to be performing the wedding of his successor. This did not happen, thanks to canon. Ellen is now in a situation where she doesn't know if she'll ever be able to find a husband, and has a quiet persistent worry in the back of her thoughts that she's been exposed to too much radiation and too many chemicals to be able to have viable children. So, yeah, she's nineteen and she's hearing both her social and biological clocks going off.

Rapunzel was married and her family was then brutally murdered. =( She's found love again with Alex, but doesn't dare even consider marriage to a 'mundie' because of all of the many problems it would involve.

Bobby? No. Maybe one day, if he ever grows up.

Ace: Is married, very happily so. She wasn't expecting it at all , and lo there was dramas, but.... yes. She does love her Spoony.

Cal: Was married, is still in love with his ex-wife, even though they drive each other completely bonkers, but he has this problem where he can't abide begin told lies or half-truths and no one likes being called out all the time. Frankly, it's amazing he was married as long as he was.

Balthazar: Would like to be married, to one very particular person who has been locked in an inescapable prison in his posession for a couple thousand years. >.> He swears that it isn't as creepy as it sounds.

Shaz: Wants to be married, in theory. Wanted to be married to Chris (still does, sorta, kinda, maybe later?). She even did gown fittings... even if the last one was kinda ruined by the way she had to go chase down armed thugs in said gown, but she got to be kickass in a wedding dress, and that's not so bad.

Romana: Is married, and to a human, which is a source of everlasting griping from some of her extended family. Honestly, they just will not give up. She, however, has absolutely no intention of changing the fact that she is married, and to a human. To that one particular human, even.

Bones: Was married, thought it was fantastic, loved his wife, loved his baby daughter... and entirely missed the fact that his wife wasn't loving the whole marriage thing as much as he was, and got blindsided when she left, with said daughter. There may come a day when he thinks such things about Olga, but today is not that day - they're still feeling things out.

Glorfindel: Is not married, so far as he'll tell me. There definitely is marriage in his canon, and elven marriages tend to be very stable and long-lasting (so long as one of the members isn't interested in travelling off to orc-infested areas, or isn't the ruling member of a fortified city...). He is definitely not adverse to the idea. As noted before, I believe there is some poor benighted elf maiden waiting for him to get back from Arda. She must be a very patient soul.

Laranth: Is not married, doesn't much think of marriage, and doesn't believe she has the temperment for it anyway. Besides, for her canon, marrying her is a dangerous proposition, and she's very likely to get herself killed leading the resistance group on Coruscant. It just doesn't come up. Much. She lies, sometimes.

Katya: Isn't married - Light Others (and Dark Others) definitely marry, though they tend to be sad things - there's so few Others that those marrigages tend to be to humans, and the children tend to be human, meaning eventually the Other is not only going to outlive them, but any grandkids, great-grandkids, great-great-grandkids, and so on, barring accident. There are a few Other-Other marriages (Anton/Svetlana) but they're not common at all. Besides, she's a battle mage, she's got better things to do than moon over someone. (Even though she does. Kinda. At her partner. They're weird and in denial)

None of mine are currently married (in fact, Apollo is kind of the definition of not being married).

Cata was married at one point, but she was whitewashed at the time and never would have looked at the guy twice if not for that. Poor guy got dragged into the middle of that mess with no idea of what was going on, and was pretty damn stunned when she came to her senses and left. (He's a perfectly inoffensive guy, good farmer... but I think his alcoholic tendencies are starting to get the better of him, unfortunately for their kids. My headcanon is that eventually one of those kids ends up in a Guild herself.)

I don't know if Sam and Kaylana would ever bother getting married.

And Claudia, to paraphrase her words in canon, hasn't even considered the dating meme yet, let alone the marriage meme. Given her line of work, there's a lot that needs to be considered before she goes making that kind of commitment; you only get to tell one other person about what the Warehouse is up to, which could get ugly fast if a marriage were to fall apart.
(And it doesn't help that, of the two strongest candidates so far, one's in Witness Protection and the other... is Fargo. XD)

Mia is married to Draco Malfoy, which I still can't friggin' believe sometimes. Mia had been fascinated by marriage but didn't think it was for her until she met Draco and he brought up the idea when they were romantically involved. She thought marriage was something nice but not necessary for her, as all she really needed was an heir to her name. She always hoped there would be love in that relationship but Draco was unexpected. It's funny how both of them were like that for each other.

Lucas is somewhat young physically and mentally to have a solid idea of marriage. But the example his parents gave him was one of love and respect. Now that one of them is gone, home is incomplete.

Felix is not married. He was going to be, but she died and that kind of broke him for several years. He still thinks of it as something likely in the future, somehow, but is not especially motivated to pursue it at the moment.

Kain is also not married. He's... sort of in a state of self-flagellation over Rosa choosing Cecil.

Fluttershy is (surprise, surprise) not married. I think we can assume that Equestria does have some form of marriage, since we've seen three couples (Pinkie's parents, Twilight's parents, and the Cakes) who act like married couples on Earth. Fluttershy herself is not particularly concerned with marriage; she's got her work, and she's shy, and based on the apparent ratio of male and female ponies, it would not surprise me in the slightest to find that the majority of mares never marry.

I know that marriage exists in Pierce's Tortall books, but what I don't know is if they have the similiar: "Married, but not Churched" view that Europe had once upon a time. If they do....Raph might very well be Married and not know it.

He's given Abigail one of his twin katanas, and they're about as shacked up as two people who don't live together could be. But this...this is a conversation they have not had.

Mike isn't married to Mel, but they're an old married couple just the same. Everyday he hopes she comes home, and usually she does. But he knows that one day she won't. He's very much not looking forward to that day.

Splinter is not married.

Aang is not married. Up until the release of info from the upcoming Korra series, I had no real idea if Airbenders could marry. Though...it's possible that Aang, being the only Airbender, decided to change that for the sake of it.

Either way, he's TWELVE.

Indeed she did. I'd forgotten about that line. So that's a 'definite' on marriage in Equestria.

And weirdly enough, they have engagement rings in Equestria, despite not having fingers. (At least they do in Rarity's fantasies, anyway.)

None of mine are married but a few of them have been or are close to it.

At one point Will was planning a future with Kate Bishop until their relationship changed and it didn't make sense anymore. Someday he will be married as that's what's done in his society and he wants a family.

Sameth is quite in love with Kait and thinks that maybe someday they should get married but he doesn't know when. Both their worlds are so dangerous and she fits in her world and he in his. He wants her in his life but at the moment, that means being together in Bar. I have no idea what a marriage ceremony in the Old Kingdom looks like, it probably involves the Charter.

Jane is hoping to be married to Tom Lefroy.

Moist flinches in my head at the idea of marrying anyone, ever, that's too much commitment.

William thinks he's too young at the moment to think about marriage and is just trying to figure out how to have a relationship with Thalia. Also he wonders and worries about his mother remarrying.

Demeter has never married, which considering her source is rather interesting. She has many relationships and is incredibly committed to people but marriage isn't her choice.

Tumnus isn't married and I can't think who he would marry.

The Pirate King at the end of his canon ends up married but I think he should be with Ruth.

As mentioned upthread, marriage is very much part of elven culture. And Elrond is a very married elf. He married late and it seems as if he knew his wife for quite a long time before they decided to do something about it. Possibly because of the dangerous times. He cannot wait to see her again. Also, congratulations :)

Enzo very much wants to marry Dani, but does not say so in so many words, because he knows people will tell him it's too early to be thinking about that, and also for fear of jinxing it. He's also not sure how they'll make the two worlds thing work.

Yrael is a Bright Shiner. Marriage... while perfectly good if it's required to make someone happy, isn't something he'd do. It's just the way he is.

Zelgadiss has feelings for a girl, but he won't make any attempt to move forward with that relationship until he is human again. He'd like to get married, eventually, though, because it'd mean that a)he would have already found the way to cure his body, and b)Amelia loves him back. The fact that the match would make him a prince of Seyruun doesn't really matter.

Sunshine has a long-time lover (and a conflicted relationship with a vampire), and is often goaded by her mother that it is time she settled down, got married, and had kids. Rae and Mel haven't even talked about marriage, because both of them are happy the way they are. Sunshine loves living alone, having her own space. And besides, who would take care of the hypothetical kids? Mel works as bad hours as Sunshine does.

Clem desperately wants to be married, because it'd fix her (She swears in my head nonexistent) loneliness, and make her Not Like Her Marriage Hopping Mother. She TRIES to get married multiple times in canon - the first, to Steed, is illegal; the second, purely for moolah, is to a dead guy. She might have issues with fidelity, but it seems hugely important to her.

Dixie was married to Doc McCoy, who abused her, and whom she divorced. She wants to settle down, but the whole marriage thing isn't important to her, in spite of her religious upbringing.

Juliet's been in love several times, but she's never made the big plunge. She's got a romantic side, though, and likely wants to be married.
