All you have to do is hearher drop her voice into that low, sweet register at anyone who's ever mess anything up and is about to fix it for her/her friend right this very second thankyouverymuch, and you'll just crush on her ability to live for life.

Also. Let me just point at every brilliant thing she's ever written.

Aspen, who opens her house and her mind and her heart to all who have need or want or care, is a phenomenal person. I am blessed to play with and know her, and to call her my friend. :)

I am trying hard not to do too many just "Seconded"s here, but... jeez, cosigned. Aspen is literally one of the best people I know.

Aspen is a study in mindfulness, creativity, drive, and How To Do It Right.

For lack of coherence, I am drawing air-hearts and making smoochy faces at my screen.

Aspen is tea-infused awesome, which makes her more awesome than awesome. Trufax. Her brilliant RPing is one of the reasons I joined Milliways in the first place, and one of the reasons I've never left.

Also, her Blodwen Rowlands was one of the inspirations for my senior thesis in college. ^_^

So there was this concert I wanted to go to.

In Denver.

And Aspen was like, OMG, YES, COME STAY IN MY AWESOME HOUSE WITH MY AWESOME CAT IN MY AWESOME TOWN, and here let me show you how to work the bus route and tell you some of my favorite places and oh you need a ride out to Red Rocks, sure I'll drive you out there AND sit outside the venue w/ a book and a sleeping bag and wait for the show to be over.

And we had pie in her kitchen, (with Sweeney, and the Mayday pie that survived the flight from Kentucky, even WITH the delay) and I fed her cat tunafish, and I got to explore a city I'd never been to before but was so awesome.

And.

AND.

I just.

Aspen, I love her. She has worked so hard to build her space and her life, and you can tell that there is a great amount of care and detail in everything she does. She inspires me to be more mindful and think things through.

(also, getting to duct tape Jack Sparrow to a pole and parade him into the bar...amazing.)

I still boggle that Jack Sparrow and Mrs. Rowlands are in the same person's headspace. Hell, it was a long time before I realised that Aspen did play Jack. Because she's that awesome.

Aspen always makes me feel safe.

No words for how much I love and admire this lady. Aspen is not only a talented writer, full of mischief and unfailingly sweet, she's a fantastic role model and despite being the busiest person I know, always has time for anyone who wants it.

Kind with tea and ideas who is always there.

Said it before, and I'll say it again: I want to be Aspen when I grow up.

I admire so very much about Aspen. Not least of which her talent, her wit, and her characterization. To have so many characters over such a wide spectrum and do them all perfect justice is a rare gift indeed. I stalk all the things, and always have.

Though I haven't gotten to know her as well as I should like, her indomitable humor and personality is evident at every turn. Meeting, however briefly, at D*C was a treat. Her smile could light a hundred rooms. ♥

I know very few people who project the poise that Aspen does. I am SO EXCITED to be sharing a canon with her now, and she's been so welcoming as I've jumped back in!

Aspen is a grown up.
She is the gold standard.

One of my favorite moments of my life was walking into the Battlestar Galactica exhibit in Seattle with Aspen in tow and just reveling in the reverence she had for all this stuff. OK, I know, we're fangirls, but it was so much fun to be able to fangirl that stuff together. Her characters are things of beauty, but more than that, she's just an amazing and beautiful person, and I'm so glad to call her my friend.

Aspen is a wonderful, wonderful person. So smart and so talented. Her writing just makes me *____* I'm always glad to thread with her.

And she gives some of the best advice ever.

Aspen is the real reason I have never regretted traumatizing Raven for LIFE with Blodwen Rowlands.

I'm just saying.

(She is a shining example of the best of people, and I am so glad every day that we are friends.)

In comparison to Aspen, I think I am kind of like this:

Aspen is great. Smart, well spoken, organized, kind, and driven. Also, evil. But secretly. You probably don't believe me, BUT YOU WILL. (Only after she has already taken over.)

I cannot imagine Bar without Jack Sparrow and his dead-on perfect swagger.

You are simply lovely. And I love getting to write with you.

Aspen is a classy lady of the very first degree.

It is a pleasure and a privilege to be freaked the fuck out by her knack for villains!

Aspen is wicked fun to know. She's hilarious, evil in only the very best ways and such a great friend. I appreciate her so much, and I hope she knows that. I will attempt to show her with cupcakes. :D

I feel like I don't need to add how incredible her writing is, because everyone knows, but there, I did anyway. INcredible.
