DE: play it again, Sam

HAHAHAHAHAHAHA! I don't have to go anywhere today so I am STEALING the Daily Entertainment! :P

I was thinking the other day about plots of a bygone era which I would like to see happen again. I personally would like to see:

*IMDB Flu - where your pup catches the flu and it makes them think they are other characters with the same PB

* and Once More With Feeling - a singing demon makes everyone express their feelings through song.

So: what plots would you like to see come around again? Who knows, maybe if there's enough support we could get some of them up and running...

Hmmm. Must say, I liked IMDb Flu because it wasn't a real plot. You pup can be as sick for as long as you like or as short as you like. There was lots of room for silliness of all stripes, but it did have a delightful undercurrent of creepiness. And it was so much fun seeing what could be mixed and matched.

And I will add that the man who voiced the Question on JLU is the one and only Jeffrey Combs. Ask any Trekkie about his resume. I didn't get Charlie sick last two times. I would consider changing that.

Also, Kevin McNally (Gibbs) was a paranoid Lone Gunmen type on Supernatural last season. The mind boggles.

I love the IMDB Flu and believe it should be an annual occurrence. I think it's a toss up between Usagi thinking he was Mike or Jessica Drew thinking she was Sarah from Labyrinth as to which was my favorite. = p

If we do do it soon, I think I'll infect Ben while he's human...mwhahahha.

Cubefall is another great annual plot. I wish I could think of more, but I am blanking.

I love IMDB flu for the ease of it. I also really enjoyed the critter plot where the chair turned people into animals. Something like that could be fun again just with a different mechanism and flexible.

Also I can hit Charles with it as he's my newest and hasn't had a round of it.

Less around again and more alternate approach, I've been thinking that there might be something in a plot where people get confused with their namesakes or others of the same name.

Mostly because it makes Artemis extra twitchy about meeting Helena. You are not my mother!

Maaaaaaaan, IMDb flu is so much fun. (I refer you to Sam and Alyx's rendition of Tango: Maureen, which came about when Leesha said she was sad Dr. Horrible's mun hadn't gone with the Rent connection and I went '...I can help you with that!')
I want that to come back, partly because I haven't been able to justify hitting Claudia with it yet. But now I can!

IMDB plot, please. I wasn't around for it the last time, so any excuse to turn Tommy into the cop from Spider-Man is a good one.

Also the critter plot. It's a toss up between making Tommy morph into an Irish wolfhound or Diego from Ice Age. (I know the bar used to have an actual Diego, not sure if they're still around?)

Dungeon crawl. From WAY the heck back, that was all kinds of ridiculous fun.

Also: Part of me wants to run the mall subplot from Reaper Man, sometime. Let the bar's dead/vampire/werewolf patrons save the day.
I'd need to reread the book, and it mmmight probably require a little finagling with Debi (but then, Death doesn't work in the bar, so...), but it would be a hell of a lot of fun.
notinthebook: (yes that is totally not crazy)

IMDb? I missed that! Though, admittedly, the idea of making Emma think she is either Dr. Cameron or Kirk's mom is...odd.

I would, however, have a great time with Danny as he gets ready to attempt a heist on the Bellagio!

Yes to a recurrence of the IMDB flu! :) I had a wonderful, if breaky, time with it when I gave Sariel the bug. I'd definitely do it again, though I'm not sure how serious I'd make things event-wise.

Yes to once more with feeling! I've wanted that to happen again for a while, though with Sweet having been chicken-fied at the end of the last one... would a second spell casting yank him out of that form and set him off again? Hmm. And then how would he be stopped? Hmm hmm.

As for others... let's see. I wish we could do something with daemons a la His Dark Materials temporarily manifesting for patrons in the bar.

*eyes her new pup*

You know, I never even thought of the possibilities of IMDB flu with M but now...

If the plots involve lots of people and have a more than likely chance of making me laugh, then I love plots.

All kinds of plots.

I say we should totally have an reinfection of the IMDB flu. No doubt.

Thirding (fourthing?) critter plot. That was way too much fun.

I DESPERATELY want IMDB flu to run again because shenanigans. And Juliet dressed like a Hooters waitress.
