DE: Mirror, mirror on the wall

So the New Year is here and my regular schedule starts again....why, oh why can't I sleep in again?

Any way, we most often, with these DEs, look at our pups and examine them. Today, let's turn the looking glass. What does each of your pups think of you? Or if that is too awkward, what do they think of each other?

Also, I would like to thank [personal profile] leeshajoy  for stealing yesterday's DE. I guess I needed one last day of a true sleep in. = ]

I like to take the piss out of my characters' personalities and make light of their misfortunes, so in general I bicker a lot with my pups. (Though not often around Milliways.) The back-and-forth entertains me. Most of them don't hate me outright because I don't normally heap misfortunes from outside of their control upon them; we just bicker a lot.

Dr Thurlow thinks of me as something like an embarrassing relative, because generally when we're in each other's presence, I am either making fun of Thurlow, making a fool of myself, or making inscrutable (from their 120-years-in-the-past perspective) pop culture references.

Aradia thinks I am way too cautious and should take more opportunities to have adventures.

Amascut is most disappointed that I don't practice a martial art of any sort, that I don't own weapons of any sort, even decorative ones, and that I let life happen to me. The only thing that gives her joy about me is the occasional revenge fantasy that pops into my head. But even that happens far too rarely. She's also glad I am allergic to cats.

I protest and say I do have a baseball bat next to my door, but she counters that it's because my mother insists on it. My mom is afraid I will be dragged out of the house and set on fire for some reason. She's had a weird life.

Fairy Fixit doesn't mind me at all. She's an engineer; I am studying to be an engineer/scientist; so if I bother her for her opinion she just gives me a thumbs up and goes back to work and back to ignoring me.

Max, Jack and Erik all think I'm a slacker for different reasons. Other than their comments on my ability to focus on something, they quite like me.

Bean has a complete lack of context for my life, so has no opinions atm...
Later on, he's just going to think I'm stupid.

I'm certain that Munch believes I'm part of some conspiracy or another, but at the moment he'd just appreciate it if I varied his EPs a little more rather than just having them all be Happy Hour shifts.

Rue, Dani and Jinora all think that I'm pretty decent. Rennes could really care less.

My pups love me. I treat them with respect and kindness and almost never do mean things to them.

Though Knox, being a reporter, thinks that I must be a jerk and a mercenary since I work the public relations side of the fence.
misslucyjane: Steve in his modern Cap costume, lookin' fine (captain america)

If I had a Steve in my life I would never feel discouraged or lonely again, I suspect. (Seems appropriate, in that most of the important men in my life are named Steve.) Can you imagine how good his hugs must be? Criminy. It's be like having your own personal pep talk.

My others think I need to bring them out to play more, except for Jack, who thinks I need to eat more apples.

Artemis thinks I need to work out more. (She's insane in her targets, but also correct overall.)

Ako thinks I should learn Japanese. She knows it, it can't be that hard.

Robo thinks I should be working harder at starting my own company. Or at least improving my professional credentials.

Tyler thinks I should write more. Mostly write him more, but anything would be an improvement.

Janet thinks I need to have more fun. I'd like Janet's budget.

And currently off in the sandboxes...

Jhort thinks I lie to much (The first duty of every Starfleet officer is to the truth!) and wonders how I'm getting along in such primitive conditions.

Nick thinks that I don't lie enough and that I need to go out and do something for fun. Also to visit the art gallery more. Mostly Nick is a bad influence.

I'm a student, so Gene automatically thinks I'm a useless sponger with an over-fluffed brain.

Bruce Wayne would just lump me in with one of the faceless multitude that needs protection from worse people. If he met me personally, he'd likely register no opinion either way.

Bruce Banner would tell me I need to apply myself more.

As for what they think of each other: Gene read Batman comics as a kid, so he'd be a bit awed by BW on first meeting him. And have respect for him for his crime-fighting abilities. He'd definitely make a few jabs about the money and playboy lifestyle, though.

For Banner - haha, wait for the OOM. :D

The Bruces' would respect each other, and probably get on very well. They would both look at Gene with a certain bemusement, I think. They'd respect his devotion to stopping criminals, but his rough manner would garner more amusement than anything. At least at first.

...though in Banner's case, he'll likely meet him as a member of Security before anything else, so that will affect their interactions at first.
