I got through my first week of school after the holiday break and other than a pretty bad bump in the middle, it went well. The woman who supervises me doesn't get libraries or what I'm trying to do so every meeting with her leaves me feeling awful. Thankfully all the other parts of my job feel positive. This coming week is exam week and I'm not sure what its going to be like.

Mainly this week I did some RP and lots of fic writing. I'll link all the fics first.

Still Searching: a Canon AU for Once Upon a Time where Charming wakes up with fairy tale memories after his coma.
Down the path: a Milliways' centered fic involving William Evans, Bill Pardy and Ben Wade, a gift fic for Batty.
Know your worth: a gift fic that I wrote earlier in December but posted on Ao3 this week, this one for Crys about William, Bill Pardy and Kate Warner.
An understanding: a crossover between the X-Men movieverse and Nolan's Batmanverse where Charles goes to Arkham and speaks with the Joker.
Something to start on: another Once Upon a Time canon AU, this time where Red doesn't eat her boyfriend.

I have a few more gift fics in the works since something about this break really got me into fic writing gear.

In terms of RP, I haven't been quite as busy, more tagging out than EPs. I'm also including some things from the end of last week as all my driving meant I never did post last Sunday.

Moist had an EP with a difficult thread with Urquhart and a fun one with Claudia. He also talked decorating with Ellen.

Charles talked with Nikola Tesla who reminded him a lot of Erik. Over in PFSB, he convinced Bryce Wayne to watch Its a Wonderful Life, that thread is still in progress. He has an EP which is still open.

William and Hektor spoke about horses, then discussed women and manliness with Gene Hunt.

So did I, I love how Gene's view of the world is so black and white while William's is all these shades of grey. Its fascinating to play with and someday, he should really come to Bisbee.

Also I shouldn't be up but sleep isn't happening tonight.

I got accepted to my second-choice grad school. BOOM. :D Now I just need the first choice to reject me, and I'm set for next year.

Also, great threads in progress with Gene and Banner. I'm loving them all, and will continue to tag, albeit slowly. (Hiatus is going well so far, clearly. :D)

That works for me and somewhere in there I might even have a break. That will be the downhill slope of the year for me.

Its odd to adjust from a university schedule to a middle/high school one. Suddenly the year's longer but more breaks throughout the year.

And I think I'd take more breaks over one really long one - in a job, you're earning, so you can enjoy them!
