This is what happens when you try writing Chuck based on a fifteen-second clip

"'Biff'? Really?"

On the screen, that "Batman" dude is working his way through some goons. It's - something, she guesses, but Jesus Christ those guys sure move slow and hit soft.

He rolls his eyes, leaning back on the couch. "It's part of the charm," he says.

"It's dorky," she says.

"Like I said - part of the charm."

"I could take them. Wouldn't even need my knife. -'pow'?" She looks over her shoulder to regard him, eyebrow raised and mouth twisted off to the side. "People liked this stuff?"

"I like this stuff."

She blows a soft raspberry. "It's skin on skin, for crying out loud. It doesn't go 'pow' or 'biff'. -or 'bonk'."

"If I let you pick out a movie once this episode's done, will you stop complaining?"

"-mmmmmaybe."
