So, summary of the bar fight. *looks daunted* Uh, I'm leaving to go pitch a tent in a field in a few hours, so I'm only gonna summarise the bits I was involved in, kay? If anyone else wants to summarise/link/add anything, do so. Plzplzplz.
It starts when
Bartleby gives a bit of a clue to his state of mind by spilling the beans on his oh-so-charming past.
John Constantine is delighted. In conversation with John, Bartleby utterly fails to hit any nerves, despite repeated tries. Bastard.
The
Fool is the next one to attract Bartleby's attention, by, you know, existing. He gets in a dig at Bartleby, which
Liz concurs with. Bartleby and Liz battle. Bartleby and the Fool battle. Bartleby is all-around a bastard, and the Fool breaks Bartleby's my heart. Liz disapproves. Vehemently.
Drusilla and Bartleby have a slightly weird conversation. There's a lot of talk of wings. Bartleby has definitely cracked.
A drunken
Raph and Bartleby talk about Liz and the extinction of mutant turtles. However, Raph gets the last word, possibly because he's too drunk to respond to Bartleby's digs, or possibly because Bartleby doesn't have a handle on him.
Other people who are unwise enough to come to the bar:
Akane,
Guybrush Threepwood,
Luna and
Euterpe.
And then
Anthy comes along. Bartleby doesn't like Anthy. Therefore (and bear with me here: this seemed logical to him at the time) he produces a gun. Death, understandably disturbed, offers a friendly warning to Bartleby.
The fun starts then. And by "fun" I mean "Aaaahhh, help me, I can't summarise this!" John orders another drink, and then sets Bartleby's face on fire and goes for the gun.
Crowley gets in on the action.
Tonks tries to use "Expelliarmus", forgetting the whole "Ha, I'm an angel and I laugh at your puny mortal magic!" thing. People are moved away and Bartleby's face is re-ignited.
Bartleby shoots himself, as the quickest way to get away from Crowley, leaving Crowley holding his mortal body. Funnily enough, this pisses Crowley off. Bartleby shoots Crowley.
John makes a charmed circle, trapping himself, Crowley and Bartleby inside. Crowley brings Bartleby down from the ceiling, using John as a launch pad, and making Bartleby drop the gun. The circle is brought down and John is rescued (will someone involved in that scene do a bit of summarising?)
Bartleby is enjoying this fight rather too much, and knees Crowley in the groin, after which he is ganged up on, and charmingly breaks Tonks' nose. He gets the gun, and decides to play the entertaining game of shoot the demon.
Unfortunately,
Ingress has somehow got involved, and tries to protect Bartleby from Crowley. Bartleby fucks up very, very severely, and shoots Ingress (accidentally, swear to God).
Door responds as you would expect, by attacking Bartleby. Bartleby collapses, and Door gets very fucking scary, Opening Bartleby. She is fortunately stopped by
Tom, and
Sirius, just arrived on the scene, takes an unconscious Bartleby away, after a vengeful Crowley has torn out his pinfeathers (Crowley, help. This confuses me muchly, because pinfeathers, as far as I know, are the newly grown feathers with still soft shafts, and it would take you a long time to pull out every one).
And that, I think is that, at least for the parts where I was conscious.
See you all on Monday. Waaaaah! Think of me in my muddy field, and summarise and link interesting stuff, plzplzplz, because there's no way I'll catch up otherwise. And in case anyone's missed this: over the weekend Bartleby will be locked in the staff quarters under heavy guard. :D And I have no idea whatsoever how to play him once I get back, because I've run out of bloody canon.

So, we can ret-con that to primary flight feathers, or leave it as pinfeathers, whichever. Think of the angst for flightless Bartleby, though. I wonder can angels regrow their primary feathers?

Those of us operating on bloody obscure Australian time that obliges us to miss all the action are very appreciative of such summaries.

I'm thinking Crowley got the ones in the middle, where they border on the secondaries.

Other than that, cheers. :D

Change square brackets for triangle ones, obviously.

Actually I'd advise him finding a nice girl/boy/ambiguously sexed entity and falling in love. It's working for Tom, anyway :P
