DE: Memory Lane
Inspired by the nice plot suggested yesterday: what was your charrie like as a kid? Are they still an organic continuation of who they were, or has there been some dramatic break in their formative years that made them who they are? If so, when did it happen, and what was it?
Bonus: do you have icons for a de-aged version of them?

Asami was more precocious and rambunctious than I think people would expect given how she is now. She had a tendency to explore places without asking permission, wander off without telling others where she was going, and take things apart/build things as she felt like it. Her personality became somewhat more subdued after her mother died, though she still carried on doing many of these things, and as she grew up I think more than losing this aspect of herself, she just found productive ways to channel these tendencies.
Abigail was bookish to the extreme and asked a lot of questions. She pretty much wanted to know everything about what was going on all the time, though she was also shy enough that she mostly limited this behavior to her parents. As she grew older she realized that direct questioning wasn't always the best way to gain information, and so became more reserved in that respect, though at the same time became more apparently extroverted as she worked out how she wanted to talk to others.
Katara was really a lot like how she is now – caring to the point of bossy, very dedicated to others and to making sure her village survived. Before her mother's death she was more playful and silly, but after that and her father's departure, she really adjusted to take on the empty space left by her parents. She still maintained a lot of hope and a certain amount of childlike romanticism/wonder, but especially in the immediate aftermath of her mother's death, she was much quieter than she had been before, much more serious and dedicated to doing her chores and taking on the kind of tasks that she hadn't had to before.
Elle at ten was mostly drifting in and out of drug-induced psychosis, so...
