Wednesday DE: Sleep is for the week

What are your characters' sleeping habits: do they sleep early or late, are they morning or night people, do their habits change with the seasons or do they perhaps spend part of the night awake between phases of sleep, as medieval people seem to have done.

Brought to you by my RL friend Alvie and me discussing the strictly industrial age standards of our Xiaomi fit-bitches.

Bastion's habit of avoiding sleep mode entirely as much as they possibly can means they are never bothered by Ganymede chirping his morning announcements at 4:30 am local time. (Not that they likely would be anyway, because omnics are a lot harder to accidentally wake than humans.)

Tess sleeps late and gets up early. She's also usually awake during the night, too. Tess is a night person.

Rose doesn't really sleep much per se. Thorn is out at nights so there's maybe a few hours they get of sleep each night. Rose is morning person and Thorn is a night person.

Kylo sleeps when he has time. There are no real night/day distinctions.

Creed keeps up normalish hours, late to bed, up whenever he has to be. He's a night person for sure.

Unless Baze is wrapped up in some project, he goes to bed early and wakes up at dawn. He's definitely a morning person, much to Chirrut's annoyance.

Sahaal's a Night Lord, and being nocturnal comes with the name. Usually he's active through the afternoon, evening and early hours, then goes to bed about six or seven o'clock in the morning.

Wilford can’t sleep without chemical assistance. He can catch a little ten minute nap here and there, but he’ll go until he can’t even think straight and then go take a few pills and sleep for two days straight.

Emcee is a night person and usually falls asleep as the sun rises. How many hours of sleep he gets is erratic, though it's never the standard 8 hours. If he absolutely must be up during the day, he will, but he'll be a little grumpy about it.

Same goes for Cassidy, although he has an actual, physical reason to be nocturnal besides being super lazy. It's just healthier and safer for him to not be out in the daytime. But in order to blend in with normal humans, he's had to adjust his sleeping habits, and fortunately he's not bound to the cycles of day and night.

Unlike Pam, who, if she stays up beyond sunrise, she gets the bleeds. Meaning she bleeds from her ears, nose, and eyes, which is really inconvenient and gross. So she spends the day sleeping like the dead and wakes at sunset.

I think Floki is a morning person, only because he often has a lot of work to do and especially in the winter there aren't many daylight hours to work by. He's also a pretty heavy sleeper and can fall asleep anywhere.
