Monday DE: Thing ring, do your thing

Something weird has happened...your pup has been offered a place in the Lantern Corps. Which ring/color are they offered? Basic idea is the ring will chose a being who has a proven capacity for the corresponding emotional/trait, or has a strong potential for that trait.

Apologies for those with DC pups who already have answers for this....

Ahsoka: While it is tempting to say White for her (I mean look at canon), I think I'll go with Green...or maybe Blue. Hard to say really.

Sabine is kind of a toughie. Green or Red certainly fit, but I am going with Violet cause her love of her people is a strong motivator for her choices.

Jessica is Red, simply because it's the closest to Spite I can think of. And yes, spite fuels a lot of what she does and why she keeps getting up in the morning. Fuck you HYDRA, Dad, and Skrulls.

Danny...while it's tempting to say Green (for his will and aesthetics), I'm going to go with Violet as his love of family and friends fuels a lot of his decisions. Indigo is a close second.

Viv is Indigo, despite her disconnect with her emotional core.

Dog is White. I could see an argument for Green.

Rose is Blue.

Kylo is Orange, natch.

Creed could be Yellow or Black, but I’m leaning toward Black.

My first instincts for Amascut was black (because Death Goddess) and red (since she's so motivated by getting revenge for past traumas). But, Amascut is very alive, anti-zombie, and emotional so she'd be more likely to ash the black lantern corps and she still thinks too clearly to be a red lantern. Her powerset resembles that of the white lanterns, paradoxically. But then again it would be a red ring that seeks her out. She isn't a mindless ragemonster, but that is more of an effect of using the red ring than a prerequisite.

Fairy Fixit is too true nuetral for a ring and she is too alive for the Black Lantern Corps. Fairies are their own thing.

While you could make a very strong case for Yamato being a Green Lantern, I think he ultimately works better as an Indigo Lantern. Compassion is a big part of his thing, after all, and it's his primary motivating force.

In the absence of emotions, Eden can really only be a White or Black Lantern, and neither of them exactly fit him especially well. White fits marginally better, because he has next to no interest in death or hurting people, and because the Black Lantern thing of killing people and removing their hearts hews fairly close to the exact things Eden's nominally aligned against.

I feel like Bastion would definitely get offered Yellow, but wouldn't be happy about it. I could make a case for Indigo too.

None of them seem like obvious fits for Cirava but gouging out their own eye to survive a drone raid is probably a Green thing to do.

Aradia's Blue if they offered it to her now. As a ghost she would have definitely been offered Black instead, and when she had the soulbot she'd have made a decent Red Lantern.

Thurlow's Green, which even fits in with their personal colour scheme.

Wilson is a pretty angry and spiteful guy but I'm still not sold on Red for him; his perseverance makes me more inclined to say Green.

There's an argument to be made for Sariel as a white lantern, but I'm leaning either green or blue for her. That's a difficult choice. I know I've considered blue the more likely in the past, but she has a dose of practicality as well as faith, so... hmm.

Gabriel...I think Green suits him best. You could maybe, maybe make an argument for Orange but I think Gabriel's determination is one of his strongest attributes. You could argue this carries over to Reaper as well, but he's more likely to be a Black Lantern. There's a touch of Red in Reaper as well.

Khadgar is easily a Blue Lantern.
