Thursday DE: I... Don't Have A Title For This One Yet

Morning, campers!

Thanks to Don for covering Bank Holiday Monday's DE for me - I like running these while I'm in work as it provides some distraction from, er, work...

What do you have in common with your characters? Where do you most differ?

Thinking specifically of character traits and likes/dislikes - for example, Molly is super caring and maternal, and a great foster-sister/mother to Kitt, the six-year-old her team are caring for - while I really don't like small children/babies and have no discernible maternal instinct...

In a similar vein to the above, Yamato is very caring, empathetic and -- well, not exactly paternal, but definitely fraternal, and it takes vanishingly little time for him to designate himself protective older brother for anyone nearby. I'm neither particularly caring nor very empathetic.

Eden has a very let's-see-how-this-goes, relaxed attitude to life which I will definitely never have. This isn't necessarily a bad thing, because Eden is relaxed to the point of apathy, and that's not ... great.

But I would very much like to be as fabulous and free as he is at his best. I'm not a performer or any kind of entertainer, and I don't crave people's attention like he does, but I kind of do share his anxiety about being silenced and invisible.

I think I share a little bit of Cassidy's defeatist, self-sabotaging attitude. Like if something has the potential to be good and go well for him, he won't try hard enough, because he believes he'll fail anyway. But I don't drink or do drugs about it.

Both of these characters are bold and outgoing and talk to people easily, which is the opposite of me!

Also the opposite of me is Pam, but most of the time she is pretty much my inner bitch voice.
