Or I could send Moist since he's always fun to mess with, but I do also want Lilly to meet Charles at some point.

Okay, I think that Charles as an owl is what I'm going to do since last time critter plot happened, none of mine changed. Now to go find an image for him.

Okay, I've realized that I don't have an easy way to get Charles back to his original shape but had an evil idea. Charles is currently dating Iris, a Greek goddess played by Steph.

I was thinking that perhaps in the thread, there could be one failed attempt then I'll give him an EP, get in touch with Steph and transform him that way. Would that work for you?

Hey, so I saw you went ahead and EP'd him as an owl. I'll work with it, but Lilly's transformations were only supposed to last the course of the thread except when otherwise arranged, like with Tommy, because it was important to me that she wasn't so irresponsible as to not have ways to reverse damage.

That last tag should have transformed him back, but since you're 100+ tags into an owl thread, can we just agree on a way that he exits that thread as still an owl that's not Lilly's fault? Thanks.

I know he hasn't been blaming her, but we're still stuck with the dilemma of the cure I explicitly had her say in-thread would work... not working. So any creative ideas as to how he is still an owl?

Dude, I wouldn't say stupid! It just means we have to figure out something that makes it work.

Let's say looped-up wait rat brought a wrong ingredient... OR that the drink really did need to be set on fire first and then blown out and applied. (I based the owl cure on Greek owl transformation myth with 'river of fire' so that could work!)
