Yeah, I really appreciate you asking me if it'd work for me if he stayed an owl, but I wish you'd waited for me to answer!

I know he hasn't been blaming her, but we're still stuck with the dilemma of the cure I explicitly had her say in-thread would work... not working. So any creative ideas as to how he is still an owl?

Dude, I wouldn't say stupid! It just means we have to figure out something that makes it work.

Let's say looped-up wait rat brought a wrong ingredient... OR that the drink really did need to be set on fire first and then blown out and applied. (I based the owl cure on Greek owl transformation myth with 'river of fire' so that could work!)

I like the fire idea since that was a thread through the conversation about the cure. And I know I just don't think of things being set on fire unless they're fun cocktails.
