To all concerned: Although the Pirate Party officially took place last night, both the party thread and the karaoke thread are still open, both for slowtimed and new threads. So come, sing, dance, drink, and mock!

(Also, for those extensively involved, if you can post summaries of any party thread zilla in the comments, we will adore you forever and offer you our firstborn children. You don't have to take them if you don't want, though. They're probably quite messy children.)

Alright, because I cannot sleep, here you go:

Andrew's night: Tim coerced the belligerant Andrew into going. (http://www.livejournal.com/community/milliways_bar/5198579.html) Bar gave him a stuffed parrot as part of his costume, whom Andrew named Bob. Once at the party, he met Mouse and tried to give him romantic advice (http://www.livejournal.com/users/balletrat/15878.html?thread=488966#t488966), although Mouse seemed disinclined to take it. After having a margarita, he found himself at the karaoke machine, singing Jimmy Buffett (http://www.livejournal.com/users/awesome_lilly/3239.html?thread=71847#t71847). Afterwards, he met Xander (http://www.livejournal.com/users/balletrat/15878.html?thread=575494#t575494), and they bonded over their mutal dislike/fear for The Joker. They decided to play Dead Parrot Ultimate Frisbee (http://www.livejournal.com/users/balletrat/15878.html?thread=763654#t763654) with Bob, and scraped together a game, which ultimately ended up with Bob's head flying off and landing in Murphy's beer. Andrew and Xander then adjourned to the karaoke machine (again), where they sang an Aretha Franklin duet dedicated to The Joker (http://www.livejournal.com/users/awesome_lilly/3239.html?thread=121767#t121767). From there, he got spotted by Indy, who mistook him for Raph (http://www.livejournal.com/users/balletrat/15878.html?thread=573190#t573190). Andrew made the mistake of trying to pretend to be Raph in return. It went well for awhile, until Raph showed up and put an end to his shenanigans.

Ivy's night: Ivy started the night by apologizing to Charles for how she treated him when they first met. He asked to escort her to the party, which she had mistakenly thought had something to do with rating pies. They had to go back to the Bar for costumes, but after that everything went swimmingly (http://www.livejournal.com/users/balletrat/15878.html?thread=614406#t614406), and they danced together (http://www.livejournal.com/users/balletrat/15878.html?thread=661510#t661510) in a scene reminiscent of a certain movie. Later, Ivy flagged down Ray (http://www.livejournal.com/users/balletrat/15878.html?thread=610822#t610822), and proceeded to flirt mercilessly with him, to both his delight and discomfort.

I hope this is what you were after, or that it is at least helpful to whomever is trying to summarize the party. If not, well, too damned bad. :oP
