(no subject)

Oh, yes, quick thing.

As the final Star Wars movie has come out, and, obviously, both muns and pups have knowledge of it, it's now fair game to use in game. However, as Millicanon for Ep. III has been established, as least as far as Anakin (and Obi-Wan) are concerned, if you mention it to them (as they are currently the only pups I know of that remember Ep. III), they will not know what the hell you are talking about.

So yeah. Go wild. Bring in Ep. III canon characters. Have your pups talk about the movie. Just don't expect my pup to know what the frell is going on.

One thing I wondered, because it was the single most painful scene to watch in the theater, especially knowing MilliAni -- What's millicanon take on the younglings scene?

Millicanon (in short, me) says that Anakin was busy taking the older Jedi (read Knights and Masters) at the time the younglings were killed and that was all the clones doing. He was Not Happy when he found out. MilliAnakin had no reason to harm the kids, as his beef was with the full Jedi, not the innocents, so...

*whew* That scene, it was just . . . I couldn't see Anakin killing the younglings, especially when the point of the attack was essentially to save his own offspring . . . He was worried about Padme, yes, but also about the twins. Your take is more believable.

Well, after seeing RotS for the second time, I came to the conclusion that Palpatine basically told Anakin that a blood sacrifice was necessary if he wanted to save Padme and the baby (since he didn't know it was twins). I mean, Palpy says that Anakin needs to kill in order to grow strong in the Dark Side to save Padme. In short, a blood sacrifice with innocent blood.

No, I didn't like Lucas's view on it, either, but now I have a workable POV on the matter. ::writes more fanfic::

I can't remember what Millicanon for Ep III was, but the whole reason I gave Jaina a copy of the book was for her to further realize that Palpatine is a bad person and that hanging around him is a bad idea, cause she's stopped listening to her friends about this.

I will be careful about having her discuss the book around Anakin though, if she talks to him anytime soon.

Thank you! And that's such a romantic take on it. It's really lovely.

And now I am highly tempted to have Tony step out of his no-canon puncturing rule just to yell at Anaking, "YOU KILLED YOUNGLINGS?!"

Anakin, dammit, not Anaking. WTF?

*beeeeeeeep tweet tweeeeeedle!*

Master Anakin, Artoo wishes to remind you, I believe, that he as well remembers the events of those days. His mun also wishes to remind you of some plot which supposedly involves me. I am slightly frightened of her intentions.

I didn't mention R2 because R2 has problems communicating. As for the 3-PO plot, talk to Mir.
