Why, hello all!
I will now proceed to make the Mega Summary Post o' DOOM!
Elaine makes her entrance and talks to Snow White, who is very kind and helps Elaine not to panic. After eating and drinking that night, she falls asleep upon a table. After she wakes, she has a nice conversation with Val and a shorter one with Snow.
She gets a key to a room and a more comfortable dress from the bar so she won't have to sleep on a table anymore or wear that itchy samite again and sleeps for a long time. Upon waking, she goes to the bar for breakfast, whereupon she meets a certain green-haired bounty hunter.
Upon returning to her room, she reflects on why she allowed herself to die, and finds a book with her story in it. Now she is determined to learn to read--she wants to know the whole story. She finds a book in her room and goes to the bar to try to read it.
While she is there, she meets a rough but courteous bounty
hunter and talks again with Sir Spike. She then returns to her room.
She studies her book very hard over the weekend and moons over Lancelot.
In the bar, she meets a very lovely lady and they talk about jobs and airplanes. Elaine heads off to her room, feeling odd and head to the bar, Where they witness Tonks' entrance into the bar. They sit with Beth, Joe, and Todd. Elaine is a bit worried about the woman and doesn't speak much, retiring early to her chambers. She has another rough night, and decides to do some drawing in the bar. She talks to Snow White
again, who offers to teach Elaine to read, and in return, she makes a sketch of Snow and the kids.
The next day, she talks to Aziraphael, and asks after Tonks. Later on, Elaine meets Two Dukes of Hell. They make her cry. Spike asks if Elaine is okay, and Beth gives her a Cherry Coke, stunning the medieval digestive system. She retires to her room and dreams. She sleeps on and off most of the next day.
She goes to the bar and pays off her bar tab with her crown. Later that day, she sketches Aziraphael and Crowley at a table and talks to Crowley, giving him the picture she's drawn, for which he seems very thankful. :-)
Eventually, she has a conversation with Spike about reading and warfare.
Elaine witnesses the duel between Todd and Meg. She finds it rather disturbing that a young man duels a young girl.
After a successful reading lesson, Snow White and Elaine go to the bar, where they discuss
matters pertaining to teaching.
In her room, Elaine's dreams become strange. But she goes down to the bar, where she meets Gil and they have a nice chat.
The next day, Elaine is feeling better and goes down to the bar for a meal, after which, she witnesses an amusing little play and has a fun and carefree conversation with Brian.
Upon retiring to her room, however, Elaine forgets to keep the light on, and has another dream about being dead. Unfortunately, (and because it's very hard for Elaine-mun to get to the board on the weekends), Elaine succumbs to teh angst for a couple of days. However, she finally makes it down to the bar, has something to eat, has a conversation with Meg and Gavroche, and Spike and Beth teach Elaine some new words and explain the vagaries of the English language.
Over the next couple of days, Elaine chats with Gil, and with Loki.
Ah, that's all one, our song is done. Whew! Weekly summaries instead of monthly? Um. Yes. :-)

sze on a more regular basis (and from the brain and country of the correct character, too).no subject
No, that took something like three or four hours over two days. I'm never waiting that long again.
