Because I promised, and the summarizers have enough to do tonight...

It's a summary of Ace's day!

Stop booing.

Starting off, Ace finds Sara, who looks nearly as cheerful as she does. For different reasons, thankfully. Sara has been in Vegas with Barry for four days, evidently. Ace is good and does not make suggestive comments, and eventually the conversation switches to casting and beating up deserving gits from Sara's world.

Claire tries to hide from Ace, but that doesn't work. Claire is very embarassed, Ace is very unhelpful, and eventually Ace wins. She then admits that the reason for her good mood is a failed kidnapping the night before, about which Claire is naturally concerned. Eventually Claire is assured all is right in Ace's world, and the subject shifts to Ace's birthday. Ace drools over the gifts she got (especially the violent ones), and Claire decides to arrange for a 'private picnic', really a ploy to get Ace to show up to a surprise party. Poor Ace. She's so trusting. And she has so many friends who will use that trust. Woe.

Ace runs into Mike, Mel, and their table-sized pizza. It's a short, slowtimed thread, but basically they are all very cheerful at each other. A spork duel is mentioned.

Later, Ace sees a man in a white mask, sword, and old-fashioned outfit. Can she be blamed that she thinks he might be the Phantom? He isn't, however, so all is well. She gives him the bar rules, and then brags about the Security team. They talk about knights and school, and he says he prefers dancing over explosives. Ace is skeptical. Eventually it degenerates into teasing about song choice, and the man, who's name Ace never does get, changes the subject. Slowtimed if the mun wishes.

Ace can't catch a break tonight - she immediately sees Mace Windu, who confirms the mun's belief that George Lucas has run out of ideas. The poor boy's got his hand chopped off, glass embedded in him, and got smacked about by force lightning. All of Luke's injuries in one solid blow. Right. Annnyway. Ace is sympathetic, and helps him out. She gets him to the Bar, and since there are no healers in sight, attempts to patch him up. She is skeptical of his ability to heal by wishful thinking, but lets it go. After a tutorial on how to get stuff from Bar, Ace uses a stepstool to reach the glass in Windu's back, then sends him upstairs to heal up.

There's a short little post where Ace notes a pirate coming into the bar, but at this point the mun is highly overthreaded and cannot keep up with everything (say sorry!).

Then Ace spies a little girl as she comes into the bar. Deciding to help out, Ace comes over and offers mikshakes as a means of comfort. Thus a chocolate convert is made. Turns out the girl, Saavedra, is an artist, and enjoys being one.

The plane trick is used to get Inyri and Ace to meet, and they have a short conversation about airplanes and why they don't go where they're supposed to.

Another new girl in the bar, and Ace waves to offer her help. Ace welcomes her to Milliways, and impresses the girl, who is Anna (though Ace never did get her name), with her time-hopping past. Ace reassures her she can stay in the bar if she wants, then lays down the bar rules. Anna thinks it's cute the Bar is female, and then they finally get around to exchanging names.

Next Ace has a crack-filled conversation with Sailor Venus. Ace thinks the girl has obviously had too much sugar, and wonders if this Pluto chick Venus talks about is related to Time Lords. Eventually the conversation drifts into not'snark about priorities. Pot, kettle, black. Yes.

In the last of the newbie conversations, Ace meets Yoda. She admires his spunk, and gets insulted for it. He observes that he is not in his cave, and Ace drily notes that he is very astute. She gets whacked for it, and is told to respect her elders. She complains about getting hit, and isn't impressed by his age (the Doctor was older, say sorry, and there's times she's not impressed by him either). He whacks her again for continuing to be disrespectful, and toddles off. Ace is now going to avoid the green troll. Or snark at him at every available opportunity. It's a coin toss.

Last, but most certainly not least, Ace collapses at Tim's table. He believes her exhaustion is a remnant of... erm... their own extracurricular activities, but she sets him straight in a hurry. She lists off all the newbies that she's met (though she forgot Anna, say sorry. She forgot to mention Raph earlier, so the mun she's just having a bad memory day all around). Tim sympathizes, then agrees when Ace complains that Yoda has a screw loose.

*bows* Ta da!

Claire insists Ace will like her party so much that she won't mind being tricked.

At least she hopes.

Er. . . or something.

I'm sure there'll be other chances to speak to the mysterious comedy pirate.
