He's trying to seduce him without being too obvious about it as well as just being friendly. He's very confusing sometimes. (And also at the moment very drunk.)

I'm not sure if Hob should trust him or not! Then again, even if Hob were to know about R's Death-Eating past, he wouldn't have a clue what it meant, so. All he knows is that Regulus is a probably-very-attractive-especially-with-drunkenness individual who's paying him a rather flattering amount of attention.

I know what *I'd* do in that situation.

If it helps any, he seems to have lost most of his convictions between his death and Milliways.

Oh, God, I was rooting for Hob and Regulus all the way. (Partly because I write Regulus stories. I would like the boy to be happy, albeit post-mortem.) So glad it worked out.
