It should be noted that Jesus has entered the bar.

Please know that he is a fictionalized version of him from the slightly irreverent novel "Lamb: The Gospel According to Biff: Christ's Childhood Pal," and that I mean no offence to anyone by playing him. I'm only having a little fun and giving myself a good reason to reread the Bible, since I have trouble forcing myself through it.

You might see Josh get up to some cracky stuff, as the novel is slightly cracky--it introduces him with a lizard in his mouth--but there will be no sex, no hard drinking (in canon, he has a little wine here and there), no drugs, and no evil, or brainwashing, or other somesuch stuff going on. He'll be a boyscout, as it's bad enough I'm playing him, and I don't want to offend anyone by having him participate in in orgy or something (plus it'd be out-of-character).

If you would like for Josh not to approach your characters, please tell me, possibly by responding to this post or contacting me privately via AIM(whatever you're comfortable with). My SN's psychicsaphie. I'll take no offence at all if you're uncomfortable playing with him. I'm surprised I'm comfortable with even playing him, myself.

ETA: Bugger. Knew that was a bit fast. Josh will not be in the bar, nor finish any already established threads, until the app situation is sorted out--and even then, only if he is accepted. The mods have to talk over whether to accept him or not, as it's a rather sensitive subject, even a fictional version of him.

I'd rather Josh not encounter Chur. It's... not so much that I'm offended by the character concept, but that it'd be too hard for me to remember that Chur... doesn't even worship her *own* species's deities, and it'd be supremely OOC for Chur to even know who Josh is.

If you tag Tony, he'll probably pass out. That being said, I'd have no objections so long as you didn't step on his denomination's toes--He's Catholic, so, don't want to have to deal with religious angst if you know what I mean. ;)

And since I tend to forget my other characters...

Josh is free to tag Audrey Raines, Erin Driscoll, Midge Wood, and John Locke (uhh he might try to get into a philosphical debate though...it's nothing Josh isn't used to). I'm not sure about Rod Serling and I'd rather not he tag Trinity.

Nope, I haven't got a Christian amongst them. The closest I have is the staunchly agnostic Mel.

My other characters are either fantasy (Sario, Delia), or something akin to pagan (Morgan) or agnostic (Mordred), so they are fine, but my little Bianca?

First of all, I just finished the book, and you so rock for bringing Josh in. *squee and hugs* The entrance looked good.

Um, most of my pups shouldn't have a problem.

Johnny's not religious, he might have a few words for him though since his mom tended to be overzealous when she was alive, and he thought she was getting scammed by an ultra conservative christian group.

Joan's family comes from a Catholic background, though only the mom's getting back to practicing. She might be interested in talking since she can't figure out God either sometimes. ;)

Peter, again, not religious, so no worries.

If Willow gets approved, well she's a witch, but she's also Jewish, so that'll be an interesting convo.

Rogi Remilliard's very much old school Catholic (with plenty of guilt with it), so maybe not him, since it would be awkward. But I don't bring him in that often.

Molly O' Reilly's Irish, and likely Catholic well, but I think she doesn't think much of religion in general. So not sure with her. But again she's not in that often either.

Sara is agnostic, though she sometimes attends Christian services. Feel free to approach her.

Grissom is a lapsed Catholic. He believes in God, though.

Will Sidle is a drug addict former hippie. It might do him some good.

Inuyasha is familiar with both the Shinto religion and Buddhism. He's also a half-demon, so there might be problems.

Nita would be happy to meet him. ^.^ I mean, she'd be intimidated, but she'd deal.

Henry would. . . I don't know, exactly, but he'd take it well, I think.

The only one I'd ask Josh to avoid is Guinevere, since I'm trying to make her less religious.

If it helps any, I, as a Christian, went all fangirl at seeing Our Saviour (or a fictionalised version, anyway) in the bar. I considered pointing Windows 95 in his direction, but alas, the hour was late.

Anyway, yeah, feel free to move him in the direction of 95-tan, Sonia Belmont, Frankenstein's monster, or Pikachu. ^_^

Oh god, if you tag Rochefort he will freak out and possibly have a heart attack. So feel free. :)

I think the only pup of mine you might have any trouble with is Marius, whose brain would just shut down in self-defending denial. He'd probably start babbling about the weather or something and refuse to shut up.

Castle might get pissed and demand to know why he's dead, but he'd get over that quickly. Chase and Adam won't care much and Gillette...eh. Gillette will be a tad worried, to say the least, but it'll be good for him.

So no worries here! But I definitely want Rochefort to meet him.
