Bartending Summary

Mr. Almeida, still under the influence of the Liar Liar plot, denies bar patrons a special because he needs to buy an engagement ring. Most, if not all, are amused by the sign. First patron of the night is Gil Grissom, a frequent customer. Tony warns Grissom that he might say something offensive and admits to CTU's condoning of torture. Grissom objects, but tries not to judge.

Gregory House and Tony haven't spoken to each other in a while. Much has happened since their last meeting. This is the subject of their conversation: House tells Tony that he's been ill, but that he's growing fond of his colleague, Allison Cameron, with who he's bought a puppy named Triumph (or "Umph" for short). House congratulates Tony on his engagement to Michelle.

Sariel extracts the truth, the whole truth, about Michelle. Tony is obliged to spill. Elaine, unfortunately, is one of those poor souls who learn about Tony's prison trauma. And in this lovely profane thread, Jen Slater, Tony's ex-girlfriend, also under the Liar Liar influence, drops a bombshell that breaks both Jen and Tony's mun!

But in the end, there is schmoop. Tony tells his Chelleybear about Jen's bombshell, receives advice and makes a resolve to apologize to her. He also admits that he's told quite a few people about their activities the previous night, and invites Michelle to ask him a few questions so long as they aren't humilating. This leads into a conversation about his friendship (brotherhood?) with Jack, which leads into a few comments about why they left CTU, why Tony's afraid of becoming like Jack, why Tony's not Jack, and, eventually...more schmoop! The thread ends with Michelle offering to hang around at Tony's request, and Tony fixing her a drink that looks rather tasty. Aww.
