Stultifying Summaries, Batman!

Crowley arrives in a very chipper mood indeed, and has a nostalgic talk with Kassandra about, well... parenthood. Kassandra does not, however, have very good memories on this topic. Crowley is terrible at comforting people, but he tries.

Meanwhile, Tonks is less subtle than Crowley about the reason for her upbeat mood. They talk about Aziraphale's shopping trip, and snigger a lot. Aziraphale then arrives and Crowley boggles.

Peter then pops in to ask for advice on how to treat the wounded angel. As Milliways is a group activity, everyone tags along to where Janus is being kept. Everyone is a tad worried about the effect healing him will have on Aziraphale, but Crowley has a very cunning plan. It actually works quite well at first, but, as per usual, it soon goes rather pear-shaped. In true Crowley form, the demon does something incredibly stupid. People are hanging on by the skin of their teeth, but Crowley has decided that they're going to goddamn well heal the goddamn angel, goddammit. Unfortunately, things have gone rather more seriously wrong than he realises.

Eventually, they all pull back, and promptly fall over. Most of the skin is gone from the ethereals' hands, Crowley can't see, Tonks is out cold, and Peter's not far from it. Most worrying, however, is Aziraphale's change in demeanour. The angel leaves, and Peter manages to get his hands on various salves. Crowley determinedly pretends that nothing is wrong. He and Peter head downstairs, have a few drinks, and talk evil, religion, and a sort of redemption. However, Crowley, his eyes on the mend, spots Liz coming through the door, and makes a diplomatic exit. He heads back to his table, collects his effects and Aziraphale's forgotten box of books, and goes home back to his flat.
