More specific-type notes for Saturday.

So, here are some things for THE WEDDING. *dun dun duuuuuuun*

First things first, musician types: I'm thinking two groups, one for during the wedding, and one for the reception.

Wedding musicians
Arithon
Yrael?
Inara? (These two are ? because I haven't spoken directly with the muns, but to other people -- please reply here if you are either of those two.)

Reception musicians
Liam Pace
Charlie Pace
Lady Tere

Also at the reception there will be random not!live music, so that the musicians can rest but folks can still dance. Tonks and Bernard have a Rather Impressive, not to mention Very Eclectic, music collection.

For everyone's consumption -- Logistics
Think of this as a Lake Party which just also happens to have a wedding thrown in. Accordingly, there will be separate posts such as "Pre-Wedding," for the arrival of the guests and general milling, "Ceremony," and "Reception," the last of which will have sub-headings within the comments for stuff like "dancing" and "toasts." That sort of thing. This set-up will make things much more amenable to slowtiming, so yay.

Any further questions? Chuck 'em at Josie or myself.

ETA: Forgot to ask -- Sal, will Gil make the cake? Please? :D

Any requests for specific songs at the reception? That way if the lyrics are wanted we can have them at the ready.

Nah, we don't need anything lyric-specific, actually. Just general "playing" is good enough for me. :D Thanks, dear!

We aim to please. XD

It's because Meg's and my musical tastes are as oil and water. So, we meet in the middle and say "there is music. yes." and are done. XD

Will there be a place to leave presents? :)

Also, will there be karoke? just curious.

Aw come on... Its not a wedding until you get four drunken manly men singing a backstreet boys song in honor of your wedding....

The kitchen staff, of course, helped liberally by the wait rats, so the staff can enjoy the ceremony and reception too.

I can be here before about 10AM PST to put a "And it is rather ironically appropriate to hear the wedding march on a harp during a ceremony performed by an angel" post up, and then late afternoon PST for anyone who wants to harass the little bastard.

I got told I get to go be social!

Gil will be delighted to make the cake and will dance briefly at the wedding before sneaking back home into the Wizarding World for a while due to mun having to take family to seaside.

Do you want quietly tasteful or wildly flamboyant? Slip me the URL of the desired patisserie and I'll post it.

*hugs*

I'll discuss this with meg tonight. We didn't have a particular cake in mind at all.
