(no subject)

Man, I go to bed and wake up to two lovely completed storylines in my inbox.

Those of you who may have missed them:

Kassandra and The Lady play high stakes: (chock full of sapphic wonderfulness)
http://www.livejournal.com/community/milliways_bar/48376.html?thread=1162488#t1162488

Elizabeth and Jack get drunk:

Sam makes the most horrible pun ever:

I do so like making the post that lots of the action is in, cos it means I get to see most of it. If you all have no objection, I'd like to make it a fairly regular occurrence -- Sirius will post a Happy Hour post most nights (At least until I start school again -- then I may not be around much from about mid-August to mid-September), and in the morning I can link you-all to interesting threads you may have missed. Then in the comments section, anyone wishing to add a thread people ought to read, from other posts, is welcome to do so.

Sound good? Sound bad?

Excellent idea! I get chased off the computer regularly here (hiphop rappers making new cd in MY dining room) but I enjoy the action. Will be glad to have Copperbadge's Pick of the Evening.

Sounds swell. *grins at bad pun*

Sounds fantastic.

There are a lot of crazy things in this post (http://www.livejournal.com/community/milliways_bar/50686.html). It's pretty chopped up, so it's hard to pluck out more specific links than that.

The exchange between Raph and Glorfindel, however, is not to be missed. "... sir. You are a tortoise." (http://www.livejournal.com/community/milliways_bar/50686.html?thread=1299710#t1299710)

I think it was Rotten Pun Night all around. (And Sam, yes, that was dreadful. Pretend I have a pillow handy, and that you are getting soundly thwapped with it.) I didn't realize my own Rotten Pun until after I had hit the enter key. Luckily, Raph-mun didn't call me on it. "So the pants suit?" (http://www.livejournal.com/community/milliways_bar/50686.html?thread=1314558#t1314558)

While I am hogging the comments section, I'd also like to take the opportunity to squee over Peter. Ye gods and little fishes, is that character wonderful to play against.

I think I'll shut up now. Thank you.

*bangs head on keyboard*
It was right there, and I missed it.
So ashamed.

Uh...I mean...
Clearly puns are beneath the nobility of my savage character. Yes, that's it totally.

No, no. Now see, if you'd mentioned before that your character had missed it, that would be one thing. But dude, don't say that you missed it! I'm trying to get people to give you some credit, here! Sheesh.

Crap. This morning RP thing is for the birds.

*laughs* I don't know whether to call it a morning RP thing for me, or a really late evening RP. Gods, I need sleep. I have visions of Tweety Bird dancing in my head.
