New community of possible interest

Perhaps you've heard of PostSecret, where people can send anonymous postcards of their secrets. [livejournal.com profile] muse_secrets is a fictional take on PostSecret, for fictional characters of all kinds, from fanfic to RPGs.

And goodness knows the bar has a lot of secrets. *bounces in anticipation*

This? This is brilliant.

I so want to tell Frank about this when I get home. He's in a poetry group I go to twice a month. He's awesome and thinks it's so cool when people play with his ideas. I know he'd approve of this.

Yes. He's cool. He had another project with throwing bottles into a lake that had letters in them, as if there was some secret love affair going on between two imaginary people. That one was in the local papers for a while. He's an amazing guy. A bunch of the postcards are going to be published and then put on display in a museum in... either New York or the Smithsonian. I can't remember whether it was the PUBLISHER in New York and the MUSEUM in DC or the other way around. e.e Anyway he loves that people use this as an artistic outlet.

*snerk* You know, when I saw that icon my first thought was that someone had apped Adam Savage to the bar. ;-)

But this is definitely cool too. :-)

Hee. Adam and Bernard would get on well--they both like blowing things up. Only Adam does it FOR SCIENCE!

Oh man, I wish we could. I'd do it in a second.
