[re: the angel. err, the dead one.
i was quite unavoidably away and wasnt aware of the plans to try and heal him/revive him. i was playing his animation as being a result of Death being out of office, as per Death-mun's indications. he was half-in and half out, and blind not only physically ( thanks to the Corinthian), but to the Symphony ( DSL for 'Heaven') as well. In canon, he is closest to David, Gabriel, and Michael, and his cherubim are called "The Lost Boys".
Thank you very muh for your concerns, especially in the light of his becoming less Archangel, and more posthumous accessory for the Milliways Wrong Shui.
His turning to stone is very much a preservation act, not a 'suicide' act, as that conclusion was readlily, and understandibly jumped to. Angel parts are too readily abused, and he was already missing his eyes and too many feathers.
So, thanks for the healin', didn't know it was happening or where it was going, but things may certainly continue. That's why I left the amulet. There should be a constant stillness in the air around him, even in a steady breeze. Even smoke next to him will only be afected by gravity, falling downward, disintegrating.]
