I have just been informed by my parents that we are going on a weekend trip. They decided this on the spur of the moment. I Do Not Have a Say in this matter.

Madb, Steph, Write, Star -- I am so, so incredibly sorry. Rue and Kate have said Max and Michael will cover for Nita if necessary (it's a five hour drive, and there may be Internet access at the end of it, but you should probably assume Michael and Max will be there, and Nita won't).

I am so sorry. If there were any reasonable way for me to not go on this trip (besides telling my parents that I have already committed to something this afternoon -- tried that, didn't fly), I would be there.
