Thom chews up the flower he got from Ophelia and plays catch with the one from Anthy. (I would summarize those too but I am much much too lazy and they are in the distant past anyway. By Milliways standards. Nyah.) And that is why you don't give him things.

Meg arrives and cracks me up by calling Thom short. Thom is dead. He can't get Meg a job. He was a sorceror, and claims to have been/be an idiot. And incompetent. Meg calls him on the lie. Thom says he's confident because he was an aristocrat. Meg doesn't think Thom is very romantic. Damn straight, Meg. She leaves and tells him not to let his heart get broken while she's gone. He says he'll try.

And then there is Anthy. She asks about Thom's magic. It's called the Gift. He says he can't do much with it. He asks about Anthy's roses. They're immortal. But if you pull the petals off like Thom does they don't grow back. Thom is disappointed. Anthy mentions the power of Dios. Thom cannot ignore the P-word and asks about it. It doesn't belong to anyone right now but he doesn't want it if Anthy comes with it. Then again, it's the power to do anything. Thom wonders [sekritly] if it could make him a god. Anthy doesn't like Thom. The shock kills me dead. Thom asks annoying questions. Anthy is a Robot Girl. Thom doesn't know what a robot is. Anthy explains that she has no soul, heart, or will. Thom, being the sweet, sensitive, caring, empathetic individual that he is, thinks that's fascinating and wants to know if she's like a golem. She says yes. He asks if she was made. She wasn't. She asks what he means. I make shit up. He explains. Anthy understands. Thom kills his magic demonstration dove. Anthy says it's a waste and it's a pity he can't heal. Basically, it's not that he can't, but that he won't. Anthy leaves.

Next: Anathema, who remarks that Thom is in a good mood. Thom lies that it's because girls are giving him flowers. Anathema is scared of her room. Thom thinks this is funny [sekritly] and is disappointed when it turns out not to be a problem. Anathema reveals that it gives her books. Thom has a bad case of book-lust. He is creepy about it. It doesn't quite sound rather explicitly sexual. Or does it, mwahahahaha? ...ha? Anathema lends him some Poe. He is very happy. Anathema doesn't know how to get home. Thom thinks this is funny [sekritly] and is disappointed when it turns out not to be a problem. It's more interesting at Milliways. Damn straight. Anathema is an echo. Thom calls her a parrot and feeds her a [previously] glass cracker. Then he shows off some more and eats half of it. Anathema doesn't believe that Thom's an idiot either. There is back-and-forth about this. Thom does not agree with her about whether things should be seen clearly. More back-and-forth. Anathema leaves.

Next there is Jane Lane. She can't give Thom flowers like the other girls, but she has a camera. Thom really, really wants to know how it works. This is unfinished because Jane-mun had to go to bed. Woe.

And last blah blah not least blah: Sario teases Thom about his encounter with Ophelia, who dropped him for Tyler because Thom is a bad and inexperienced but mostly bad kisser. Thom is pissy about it. Where Sario comes from, 'Blood and Magic' is apparently a standard sort of greeting. Thom [sekritly] thinks this is the coolest thing since sliced cool inna bun, but pretends to be shocked. This is also unfinished. More woe. *mourns*

Well, I'm back now, but you won't be for a few hours at least, I'm thinking. (And possibly by the time you're online again I'll be gone. ::shrugs::)
At any rate, I replied to that last comment. Jane kinda said she's figured Thom out without saying it. (I blame overexposure to Kevin and Brittany.)
