Okay, I'm totally supposed to be asleep right now, but I swear it's not insomnia, it's stubbornness. So, here goes.
I found this interview that Neil Gaiman did at my school last spring, and the question So if you could be a deity for one day, or for the first day of eternity or whatever, which one would you pick and why? was asked.
Neil's answer is long and fun, but then he gets to this part, which struck me as super-Milliwaystastic: Also, I’d love to be one of the Indian things that get to create worlds. Coyote! I’d love to be Coyote, for example, just ’cos he fucks things up as often as not, and then just carries on and does other stuff, and it’s really cool and just keeps going. [opens bag of chips]
It might be the cosmic opening of the bag of chips that does it for me. Still, I thought people like Raven and Rabbit and Coyote (ETA, with apologies! ;) and Spider would appreciate that.

And makes a diplomatic wave toward Gray Jay, who mayhap doesn't count yet, but should.
