Just a brief reminder that the new app guidelines include a slightly longer character description -- 300 to 500 words. That's not a significant increase from the previous requirement, but we think it's important. 'Cause, you know, if you're willing to flesh out that characterization a bit more for us, then it'll pay off in the long run once the character's in the bar.

For that matter, if you've still not gone back and read the new guidelines, head on over to the info page and check it out! Even Milliways vets should have a gander. :)

ETA: Yes, over 500 words is fine, if you feel you need to write more; HOWEVER, do keep in mind that we have a lot of apps to get through, so be kind to your mods.

Look, a Meg I can bother with a question --

Since apps now include more characterizationystuff, can we add things that aren't neccessarily said so much as implied canonwise? as there tend to be Gaping Holes in characterization of minor characters in canon, and it can be Good to get further in than canon gives them.

Basically, is Millicanon allowed? Within reason, 'course, not Totally Made Up Crap.

You may wish to clarify that over 500 is shiny -- I know a few were flailing over having trouble with editing down their apps until I pointed out where you said it in the other post.
