Today in random adventuring and WTF:
So Quin's down to visit, and we went to Friday's for dinner. And there was some WTF.
First, in following misleading directions from my dad (he was thinking of another restaurant: Store called Rue 21. I, Quin was wondering when the frell Rue turned 21, and why she had a store in Ohio. Any ideas? None here.
And then we got to the place. First thing: Sign on the wall amongst the kitsch advertising USED COWS. Yeah, we don't get it either.
The other good one from the kitsch: Peach Whip, a peach of a drink. (Sold only in bottles.) Well, hello, Desire...
After that, check out this string of table-availability calls:
Tom, party of 2
Mark, party of 4 (immediately after the above)
what I first heard as Snooty, party of 2, but on the second go sounded far more like Suti...
Jane, party of 2 (not sure whether this is
philotic_jane or
artsmartscarlet or do we HAVE any other Janes it might be?)
Lisa, party of 2
And in random driving goodness, passing a cemetery on the way down here, I found one for Roger Davis. Cue Mark flail. *sighs*
So, yeah. XD

Is random cemetry wandering a hobby or... *boggle* um, just a thing you do? Or is this something the majority of the country does, and I'm just missing out?
