cuttingslack: Hers is the easiest. Slack has a backpack that has a box of ammunition for her Carbine, a notebook, an old wallet with nothing in it, five pens, and an extra jacket. In the pockets of her coat she's got a photo of the team, a keyring, a smaller photo of 'Po she never told him Syfte took for her, and a chain she keeps her engagement ring on. It's not safe to wear it in public.

dnaromantic: Greg just carries his evidence kit around. But I can tell y'all what's in an evidence kit if you like. A retractable fingerprint ridge counter, a metallic linen tester, 90mm hand magnifier, 65mm dome magnifier, a search mirror kit, a rigid endoscope 12mm diameter and its power pack, one telescopic inspection arm, one rigid torchlight, a Henry coding disc, a classification magnifier, DNA collection swabs, a blood sample porto-screener (human or not?), dusters, fingerprint dust, and collection tape. He keeps a copy of Playboy signed by Trina Echolls under the fold.

wizard_kit: Schoolbooks (he's in 8th grade), and his manual. Kit is vaguely boring when it comes to his stuff, but that manual holds practically everything.

Magius carries a lot of stuff in his pockets. His magic makes them rather expandy, so he ends up carrying most of his spell components and a few books of magic with him whereever he goes. Also, in a Pocket of a differenmt kind, a dimensional pocket, humara, the Staff of Magius, is carried wherever he goes.

Hank McCoy, by dint of Pym-McCoy pouches carries a variety of medical equipment, sensors, and minor engineering tools with him, as well as a broken down field communications unit. He generally changes the things in his pouches depending on what he is doing or the mission at hand.

astral_brat: In his pockets: whatever scrunched up worksheet he should be working on for homework, a pencil or two, the small wooden horse Cywyllog's twins gave him, and some random machine components he probably shouldn't have messed with.

cywyllog - only carries something if she has to, and then, it only contains whatever is necessary. Clothes, money, children's toys, etc.

gravity_shifter - she probably has a little belt purse thingy, mostly for Scarran krindar. Her pistol's in a holster, also on her belt.

beauty_marred - probably has a purse, containing the usual. Money, a compact, possibly her wand. Whatever's in it, it's neat and tidy and very organized.

sister_lucy - carries nothing but can produce almost anything.

monster_made - carries change/money in her pockets. Otherwise, she carries very little because it's hard to vapourize items.

hanild and

attic_girl - don't carry anything, that I'm aware of. They've never had need to.

just_a_soldier If she has a bag, it either contains wads of credits (although more piles...as credits are sort of coinish) or a really big gun. I would include the URL link to a picture of a pulse pistol, but www.farscape-caps is down, alas.

She also carries two different daggers, A laser knife in the lining of her coat (It's a really small gun) and a pulse pistol strapped to her leg. She also has several explosives depending on the day and some jelifan fire paste in a tube tucked in her boot.

whitewitch_thea She tends to wear shawls rather than coats, but she usually has a bag, which contains:

A hatpin, assorted crystals, a bottle of floral perfume, a recipe for cookies with Thea loves Viktor scribbled on it absently (the loveheart is scribbled out and in it's place is written 'likes' and at the end 'a lot', embroidered tissues, a magazine about exotic animals, some rosemary and a train ticket stub.

ironside_pixie never carries a bag, but in the pockets of her very frayed jeans, she has:

Pocket lint (of course), a dead flower head, A bone-handled fold-up knife, spare change, Desire's gold-heart-shaped lighter, A Milliways matchbook and a black eyeliner pencil.

stuck_mynock has a holster or two with blasters, a thing to put his lightsaber in (along with his lightsaber), and carries two decks of pazaak cards - one for cheating, with skifters and sorts and one for fair games. The latter is rarely used.

creator_raven tangles of string, thread, leather bands, needles, planets, a solar system, sand, half an apple, cookies, the entire population of Drugas 9, a cat skull, sharks teeth, coral, two books, a pair of flip flops, and possibly a dwarf. Plus everything he ever forgot he put in there. Like bananas.

it_has_teeth He has no pockets. Though you'd be surprised what he keeps in his handbag.

caramel_colored Knives. A raincloak. Rations. Lockpicks. A compass. Mess kit. In her pack, at least. On her? Mostly just the knives.

maida_crow String, bird feathers, pretty rocks, lint stuck to bits of candy. A switchblade.

sister_serpent Nothing. Serpentine really doesn't have the need to carry things with her. That's what her major domo is for.

karthan_pirate A compass, odds and ends like fishooks, some scraps of cloth, and a stubby piece of charcoal/pencil/something, for making notes. And a whittling knife, even though he sucks at it.

not_only_wisdom Herbs, sometimes--the makings of potions and simples. Mostly she wears her angreal and ter'angreal, so that's really about it.

copper_fray Her badge, a small notebook and pen, an old photo of her family, a sketch of her parents (real or imagined, who knows?), and a lucky rock. No one knows about the rock.

shall_go_free A winecork, two stubby pencils, a swatch of cloth that might be a handkerchief and might be an improvised blindfold, various bits of paper.

Raven should have a bottle if milk in his pocket. What else would go with the cookies? :O!

After all, dwarf and cookies before bedtime does not sound quite so appealing.

mapmakerchur When she's here, usually nothing, or sometimes a gold coin to pay some of her tab off with. When she's on the other side of the door, and the ship isn't moving, she carries her identification and sometimes two or three gold coins or a handful of silver coins.

bad_in_latin has the whole holster + gun OTP going on, plus usually about five to ten rounds of ammo when he's not on the ship. He also has a pocketknife in his boot that people may or may not pay attention to/be aware of.

What? It's for the apples.

song_tra_bong of late has been carrying two knives (the hunting knife from Random and Ramon, plus the smaller knife from Julian), her 9mm, a spare magazine for the gun, her bandana of many colors, and a pair of mismatched dogtags on a chain.

She may have some cash stuffed in the bottom of a pocket which she forgot about.

If she's carrying her bag, there would be more ammo for the 9mm, ammo for her rifle, several C-rations and a few grenades. Possibly a claymore.

Isn't it fun when what your pup has in her possession is mainly intended for violent use?

capt_angie She has a red leather money bag, some makeup- not much, just clear lip gloss, eye-liner, mascara and eye shadow in a natural-ish tone- clear nail varnish and a nail file, perfume/body spray/deodorant type thing (articulate aren't I), a brush, a bag of Honeydukes sweets... pretty much the standard girly paraphernalia. Oh and a Quidditch magazine and her wand.

pretty_maids might carry a pack of tarot cards in a pocket but that's it.

hogwartsbadger her wand, a money bag, a few hand embroidered hankies, hairpins, lists of things she needs to buy/do, and various items she picks up and forgets about. These include, but are not limited to, pastries, small toys, jewelery, embroidery threads, ink bottles and quills, owl treats.

macleod_connor - the katana is generally on his person somewhere, keys, little cash, that's about all

merriman_lyon generally has pocket change, a billfold and a set of keys on his person, as well as a fountain pen, a small notebook and at least one handkerchief. If he has his well-worn leather briefcase with him, it normally holds whatever he happens to be working on or reading at the time. He's also quite good at pulling objects out of seemingly nowhere if the situation calls for it. ^_^

pathunprepared keeps the keys to the doors of Nemuro Memorial Hall -- all of them. And if Ohtori Academy has student ID cards (though the thought makes my brain hurt), he probably has one of those as well.

brothercadfael doesn't carry anything on his person most of the time, unless he happens to be travelling somewhere or is called out to ~~solve a murder~~ nurse the sick.

maid_of_astolat:Elaine has only her room key in her pocket. She has a dagger tucked into either just underneath her waistband, or in a boot-top, depending on what she's wearing.

annwn_lord: Arawn has nothing in his pockets. Unless, of course, he needs it. Magic is handy that way.

iamnotstorm: Sarah generally doesn't carry much, money, rubberbands for her hair, when she comes to Milliways she's generally got enough money to cover whatever she's eating, a crossword puzzle book and a pen. She also has a chain with a mithril and purple-sparkly thunderbird pendant from Asar-Suti, and a flint and lapis thunderbird feather pendant from Bruce.

blue_star_badge: besides his knives up his sleeves, and his badge for mathematical excellence, he's got scraps of paper with numbers on them, some calculated, some to be calculated later, a 'borrowed' sonic screwdriver, an electronic dog whistle, a radar ear from K-9, and a small stalk of celery.

smallestopener: Ooh, she has all sorts of lovely things in her pockets. Crayons, coins, sparkly rocks, shiny things (including glitter), crackers, broken pieces of toys, and one memorable, sad occasion, a goldfish.

once_a_queen: Susan has a tidy purse with a handkerchief, compact, lipstick, comb, coin purse, and the key to the Pevensie family home.

Max generally carries a lighter, a small notepad, a pen, her pager and cellphone (she's been back to her world, so she's replaced the ones that were lost at the End of Time), a wallet with some cash and ID, lockpicks, and several knives.

Other implements of destruction are added as necessary.

She's recently taken to also carrying a small, grainy photograph of the Seattle skyline as seen from the top of the space needle.

i_spoiled_it - is always wearing her Robin utility belt, even when she's in civvies, 'cos it's Useful and Steph likes to be Useful. Also, it has batarangs, birdarangs, flash-explosives, smoke bombs, various compressed gases, de-cel cables, poison antidote syringes, inertial navigation units, forensic analysis equipment, monofilament wires, a rebreather, a five-minute oxygen supply, an auto-deploy flotation device, a personal fire suppressant, an air supply mask, food concentrates, a computer memory back-up/power supply, anti-shock things, medical supplies, basic first-aid essentials, tracking devices... Robins are, like, SUPER Boy Scouts. Or Girl Scouts, in Steph's case. Some of these things don't even work in the Bar. Yes, I did have to look up the contents of the Robin belt, why do you ask? *grin*

rebel_falcon, on the other hand, carries his blaster, a spare power pack, some credits, and a couple of different sets of identity papers - that's about it.

blackbanthaboy doesn't carry anything except his room key, as far as he's told me, anyway.

safetyoverstyle also carries nothing. Have you seen how tight those Wonder Girl pants are? In civvies, she'll sometimes have a handbag with, oh, the usual - mobile phone, purse, lipgloss, door key.

shaped_jeedai a datapad and random datacards that she never reads in her flightsuit pockets. The lightsaber stays clipped to the belt, and the pouches on the belt are full of little things... bacta sprays, a chance cube, a commlink. A Yuuzhan Vong utility knife disguised as a shell. She doesn't carry her room key very often because she rarely locks her room. Sometimes she'll have a copy of Zekk's key or scraps of flimsy, but not often.

col_cardboard's uniform doesn't leave much room for pockets, but he'll usually just have his and Jaina's room key and a few credits. Maybe a datapad, if he's been working on reports or a new simulator program.

ru_fi_ooooo... man. Most of his big stuff stays in his treehouse by the lake, but his pockets are full of odds and ends-- demon rabbit feet, pretty rocks, an interesting shell he found out near the lake. He's usually wearing a rusty old sword... not as shiny as the Pan sword but every bit as sharp.

At one point we actually threaded some of the contents of Gorlim's pockets (http://community.livejournal.com/milliways_bar/9099521.html?thread=379557121#t379557121). In addition to the lethal and semi-lethal items, he also has an assortment of random crap he finds all over the place -- buttons, pins, bits of plastic, pebbles, broken pencils, bent paperclips, single earrings, just JUNK, really. In addition to THAT, he usually has some kind of food on him. He doesn't often EAT it, but he finds it comes in handy for giving away. This usually includes some kind of jerky, dried fruit, and bread stuff.

Gorlim's pockets are very intricately developed universes unto themselves.

Foaly has some damned interesting pockets, too, but if I told you what was in them, he'd have to kill me for giving away his advantage. Let's just say, you don't want to mess with him. OR his pockets.

Jessica.... heh. Oh, she has some FASCINATING items in her Back Pocket. It's a toon thing.

Harry I imagine has magazine clippings. Things like broom models and Faith's boobs and... er... *cough* yes.

half_giant (Hagrid) has in his coat pockets: A handful of dog biscuits, a packet of pumpkin seeds, three white mice, two blue speckled eggs, five Chocolate Frogs, several mint humbugs, a bag of Fizzing Whizbees, a LOT of lint, a key ring with 47 assorted keys on it, many scraps of parchment, and enormous quill, a bottle of purple ink, five galleons, twelve sickles, and 4 knuts. A picture of Madame Maxime, a couple of strands of Unicorn tail hair, some assorted teeth from different critters, two feathers from a Hippogriff, a very unhappy Bowtruckle, a scale from a Chinese Fireball dragon, a flask of Firewhiskey, a really big pocketwatch, a week-old copy of the Daily Prophet, and a Famous Wizard card of Albus Dumbledore (slightly tear-stained).

mollyprewett has spare quills and ink, two galleons, eight sickles and thirteen knuts, a picture of Arthur Weasley, and an apple.

mad_martin has no pockets in his straightjacket.

nita_callahan has a Vest of Many Pockets, which hold candy bars, candy bar wrappers, keys, old receipts, her cell phone (sometimes), change, subway card . . . y'know, paraphenalia.

She also has a claudication pocket, a pinched off bit of otherspace she can access. That holds her manual, a rowan wand (sometimes -- not lately), her space pen (which I will someday work into a plot, I swear), and other paraphenalia that won't fit into the vest pockets.

deserved_it has string, a penknife, a slightly grubby hankerchief (sometimes), and matches.

mother_lost wears a small wooden cross, and has taken to carrying an ash rosary since Christmas.

thisfatefulhour . . . won't tell me. But I'm guessing he's got money, a checkbook, student ID, and a subway pass. Probably more than that, but he won't tell me what.
