Heh. Tonight's reading material, other than catching up here: Still Life with Woodpecker. I guess this town is too small to expect an "Oh, Milliways?" moment at the bookstore.

I live in a small town and still I got one! *pumps fist* You can do it! I will cheer for you.

How small is your town's population? Mine's between 6 and 7 thousand, depending on how many people got fired that day... :) That's not counting the tourist population, of course.

I only "know" one other person here in Banff with an LJ, and that's only through chatting via LJ. And he doesn't strike me as an RPG kind of person. I guess I'll have to settle for assembling strange reading lists and smiling mysteriously when I buy them...

Er, okay, you win. But we can be hopeful! I'm not even sure how many people live here. Though I know of a handful of people that have an lj. Still hopeful though!

My hometown is 3800, and several of my friends are on LJ. I'm trying to bring my friend and his brother in. *plots*

I don't know very many people who'd be interested in LJ'ing, let alone RP'ing here... most of them are of the non-geek variety who'd rather go out and get drunk... Oh well, their loss.. :D

Of course, it took like a complicated search for me to actually remember the title. I kept thinking "A Curious Incident with a Woodpecker" and things like that... The clerk's like, A Curious Incident with a Dog at Midnight? And I'm thinking, "no, I've got that one at home," and saying, "um, it has a woodpecker in the title..." But she was very helpful and found it on the shelf right behind me. Silly me for forgetting the author and the title, but it was actually more of an impulse buy while I waited out the rain in the store... :)
