Summary of Anathema's thread.
Mat comes over, and they catch up. Mat had a strange spell (he turned Barbie into toothpicks). Anathema thinks he'd look pretty in a dress, and starts trying to convince him to prance. (Mun Note: THIS WAS ALL HER FAULT. I was giggling, but I had NOTHING to do with it. For clarification.) Finally, she gives up on it and leaves, though she owes Mat a game of cards and a chance to teach her how to dance.
Further down in that thread, Meg comes over, and yells at Mat. He defends himself, and they fight for the rest of the thread. R. Daneel Olivaw suggests they not injure one another, introducing himself to Meg (as he'll be introduced to the others in a second), and Mat and Meg end up fighting over here as well. Somewhere in there Meg calls Mat an "espece de guignol" and laments her lack of swearing ability in English to Anathema.
In a different continuity altogether, R. Daneel Olivaw comes over and is informed that Anathema has been around Milliways for a few weeks. She promises to let him know if she sees either of the people he's looking for, and they talk about robots as well as the possibility that his message might have been less than honest. Talk turns back to robots, briefly resting on the fall of Earth. Then Daneel retires.
Mat hasn't seen the man, and asks what Daneel does. Also, he has no idea what robots are. Daneel explains, and also explains what he does. Mat asks what's to stop the robots from revolting and Daneel explains the three laws of robotics (which probably deserve capitalization, at that, but oh well). He also informs Mat that the nature of a robot's brain prevents it from growing, and retires.
That'll be all from me tonight, except possibly here and there, maybe. I am off to be de-virginized and rather explicitly sexual, yay!
