ways_back_room | (no subject)

Hallo, folks.

Heater here. First of all, I just want to thank everyone for their good wishes over the last few months, and fling appreciation at those of you who have put up with slow tags and dropped threads since I got back online. As most of you know, I'm using voice recognition software because typing is still impossible. It is finicky and frustrating, but far better than nothing at all.

The software (or Frank as he has been dubbed) presents several problems when it comes to threading, the most significant being that I lose my voice fairly easily. This is why I have been shying away from entrance posts as of late. I've been trying to come up with solutions to this that don't involve unexpectedly hopping offline mid-thread. For the foreseeable future, I think the best thing for me to do is to make a blanket request that anyone interested in tagging pings me before doing so. This also holds for

doc_evil,

turtle_wexler and

princess_thayet, all of whom will hopefully have entrance posts soon.

And this is why I have a new screen name: eccofiore.

However, I ask that it be used sparingly. I'm not up for crackchat yet, and it takes me forever to navigate between windows. Frank hates AIM with a fiery passion. Please, please don't be upset if you ping and it takes me forever to respond, or I go quiet. This in no way means I don't want to talk to you. In fact, it's rather the opposite, and I'll get back around to it eventually.
