Sorry, I have another question. Blame it on the lack of FAQ.

How do people like to work coming and going from Milliways? Clearly people have been able to leave and return, but I'm wondering about things like passage of time, either in the world the character comes from or Milliways time.

Hm...it depends on the character, really.

Most of the Harry Potter characters seem to have come to the joint (entirely accidently) consenous that time passes normally for us. A day in the bar is a day in the "the real world".

It depends on your character, and really, your need. You are Bound or not Bound depending on what sort of thing you want your character to do.

We don't really have any rules here. Just keep your character as canon as you can (or just prefent the dreeded Mary/Gary Stu as much as you can) and always work politely with your fellow characters.

Constantine is just a Sneaky Mysterious Bastard and so has not divulged what happens to him on his jaunts back into the World. And even if he did, I wouldn't trust him. Nope. Not a word.

Here's a post on a similar topic that came up a while ago, before you joined the game, I believe: Theories of Milliways. There seem to be some general guidelines there that are accepted by many.

It really depends a lot on the character, though. :)

Yeaaaaaaah. I'm not totally sure about why some characters can/can't come and go as they please, but I think that adds to the Randomness of Milliways. Tonks is free to do as she likes. No hard and fast rules, really. I guess I would advise just setting ground rules for your character and sticking to them.
