(no subject)

So, I've been thinking on this for a while, but do we have a community for Milli-virgins? And if not, could people maybe think about it? A community where people new to Milliways and/or RPing in general can hang out, talk to each other, talk to more experienced people about things? And, of course, where they can ask all the stupid-sounding questions they've kept bottled up. *remembers having to ask what a 'fade' was*

Any questions/comments/ideas? I think it might be a good idea, a sort of place where the muns can learn more about what's happening.

So. Yeah. Let me know!

It's not *exactly* what you're looking for, but [livejournal.com profile] rp_help is a good place to go as far as asking questions/etc.

Post here, we're happy to answer. We older folk remember the early-early days of the game when no one had the slightest idea what they were doing and I still hadn't caught on that you could just *say* a pup was bound . . . we'll answer even the silliest of questions with patience and understanding.

Chat's a really great place for that, if you're on AIM. And I bet most of us who've been here for a while... well, wait, I shouldn't speak for everyone. But I bet a lot of us who've been here for a long time don't mind a tap on the shoulder to answer questions. I know I don't, and my contact info's in my profile.

There are some pretty handy resourses for newbies (and I still use them, ten months in) linked on the right side of the bar and the back room, the Millidictionary and the FAQ. Other than that, what everyone else said -- ask, on AIM or here. I've asked a lot of questions of a lot of people, and everyone's been kindness itself about explaining things.

If you ever want to chat to me hon just give me a poke by email and I'll come on MSN. I'm often online without being visible on it.
