(no subject)

Mods, if you feel this is inappropriate, feel free to take it down. This just came to my notice thanks to a friend, and I feel strongly about it. We are a huge community, and I feel that as a whole our participation in this could influence what's going on.

LJ's at it AGAIN.

We're not Myspace. Please let LJ know this.*

Mine. Milliways.

Check your own. Just add "?ver=ng" to the end of your profile address.

Then go comment on the original post, comment in the petition at [livejournal.com profile] mother's LJ, and fill out the poll by [livejournal.com profile] alittlewhisper. Also, [livejournal.com profile] txvoodoo has a poll about your age and Vox, the new 6A blogging service.

And pass it on. Please.

*I'd like to say that I'm not TOTALLY opposed to Myspace. Mostly because you can, if you are talented enough, make your page actually look decent. In general, however, I really don't like it. That's why I'm never on it. I go on when I receive notifications via email that somebody has contacted me. And that's it.

...So all 45 pages of comments, and the ability to add one, have suddenly disappeared from that original post.
I'm praying this is a glitch. If it isn't... they dropped the poll because the answers weren't what they wanted to hear. And that's just Not On.

*checks*

No, it's still up.

Then again, after 45 pages of "OMG, THIS SUX!" LiveJournal probably got the point already.

It came back, yeah. But it was definitely gone for a while there.
