New fic challenge!

Idea stolen from [livejournal.com profile] unanon. All credit to her.

A Thousand Mundane Deaths Ficathon - in which the character's death isn't heroic, isn't dramatic, doesn't save the world or even result in anything as altruistic as organ donation. It's just death. Period.

You can write it about any character you like, and the fics can be as long or short as you want. Please post them or link them here, in the interests of keeping them together.

Also, go forth and pimp! This challenge is completely open.

This amuses me, because it fits with how I imagine Mal dying.

You obviously missed the chastisement at con for a fic that will never be millicanon. *amused*

...

*opens Notepad anyway*

Wait. '...isn't dramatic...'?

I fail, then.

Can it be dramatic yet pointless and unhelpful to anyone?

Now you need to get cracking on the Really!A!Fed!Spy!Mal fic. :D

Guh. This is awesome, but to be honest, I don't think it's possible for me to write Mel's death. Just not seeing that.

...I kind of already did this one here (http://kcountess.livejournal.com/125684.html?thread=259060#t259060) and here (http://kcountess.livejournal.com/126664.html) (same universe, different times) but now I kinda want to do another one.

Damn you, Kate.
