Albus Dumbledore dies in Harry Potter in the Half-Blood Prince. But in our AU version of the Potterverse, the events of that book didn't happen.
We'd thought Albus would die during the final battle of this year's June plot, but as we got into full swing with the plot, his death didn't quite fit. It would have been a cheapened death, a meaningless one, so I decided to wait till after.
Due to Millicon planning and my utter exhaustion, his final thread didn't get finished till today, but in Millitime, it happened about two weeks ago. I beg forgiveness of my fellow Potter muns for delaying it so long and not letting reactions happen, if any were wanted, till now.
As of this post, Albus is a retired character. It was an honor and a pleasure to play him (especially with folks like Bill and Merriman), even if he was the most challenging character I've ever attempted.
