Hey, guys. I was going to do all this in a very smart, planned-out manner, and inform everybody who needed to be informed before the post went up. Unfortunately, the school year came at me like a cement truck, and so here I am.

Basically, it's my senior year of high school. I'm a varsity athlete, editor of the school paper, my course schedule is a nightmare ... pretty much, I'm just really swamped, and a huge, fast-paced game like Milliways is not going to make that any easier. So after two years, I'm calling it quits.

I understand that there are a few of you for whom this is going to be somewhat inconvenient (I'm thinking mainly of Amy), and if you guys want to email or IM me to work out a way to get certain of my characters out of the way/out of the bar so that it isn't difficult to play your character, I'd love to talk to you. Antigone's going to remain active until some of the plot she's involved in is wrapped, but as far as everybody else is concerned ... I don't have the time (or, to be honest) the inclination to play them as senior fall approaches.

This isn't really a goodbye, as I'm going to have a continued presence here for at least a while. But I felt that I should ... you know, let you guys know. Thanks for your time.

I'm sorry. I'll miss playing with you; you're one of my very favorite people to RP with, and I adore your writing. But RL takes precedence, and school takes precedence; this is, when it comes right down to it, a game and a hobby, and it can be set aside for a while.

You just better still be around to talk to as your schedule allows, missy. Or else I'll... um. Be sad? I will, too.
