(no subject)

I'm just floating this as a test balloon, but: would anyone here be interested in a plot in Ray's world involving a master thief, Revolutionary War gold, and the indignant ghosts of several dozen soldiers on both sides of the American Revolution? Much as I have plans for Ray and his world's government again, I'd sort of like to do a little crackplot first- that is, assuming anyone's interested in participating.

Let me know, okay? Thanks!

Ever hear of Henry Knox (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Henry_Knox)? Maybe you've heard of the place they named after him, the one with all the gold?

I had not been inclined to assume that Knox was automatically descended from Henry Knox, but it might be a bit zany if he meets the ghost of a possible ancestor. Especially if perhaps Henry Knox's ghost has been watching over that fort and all its gold.

Well, it wouldn't have to be at Fort Knox. It would just have to disturb him enough to get him to come north. Besides, ever since James Bond and Oddjob left, Fort Knox has been pretty dull.

This is so eerily up Harry's alley... completely something ridiculous enough for him to fall into... ;) almost as weird as the frozen-turkey-missile. *eg*

[livejournal.com profile] wizard_dresden <- that's Harry.

Iiii am tempted indeed. Crackplot with Ray is always fun.

I'd so be up for that.

It would probably depend on when it happens, since Veronica's pretty busy over the next little while, but you know I'm always in.

*considers* I'd have to check on dates, since my internet access is likely to be spotty in the beginning of September through...some unspecified point later in September. But it's hard for me to resist the pull of possible crackplot involving the War of American Ingratitude. ^_^

. . . I've been kind of wanting to do something fun with ghostly stuff for a while now. *grins* So, if there's room!

Plot with Ray is *always* tempting. My only thing is my crazy RL schedule these days, but depending on when you're planning to do it, I might be able to jump in. Not sure which I've my pups might work for it, though (maybe none, and if that's the way it goes, that's fine).

Sort of amused by the idea of Malcolm getting swept up in this and weirded out by how other spooks deal with *their* afterlives, since he really hasn't had to deal with other 'ghosts' as such since he got to the bar. Being Bound, though, he might not work.

Well gooshness... makes me wish April weren't dead, she'd love to be in on this.

Of course, I'm still really sketchy on the rules about dead people visiting other worlds and the like...
