Stables-Armageddon
After discussing it with fellow players, and the Armageddon plotters, this is what we have come up with.
Regarding the horses:
Shane's gelding, Ferreus, Mithros, Pistolet, Tequila, Rofal, Cluaran, Solon (Pegasus), and Michael Guerin's gelding all have permission to
be set loose. Liaffen also, with the caveat that someone get Arithon.
Boukephalos, Kiseki, Corella, Rachat, Duncan, Ghost and Darjeeling are not to be set free, though they'll certainly be spooked. (I'm thinking here that Boukephalos at the very least will be in the stallions paddock outside).
Warglut, Spirit, Prancer, Ravenscourt, Epona, Sleipnir, Springheel, Windfoot and Melina have not received directions for either. Serenity and Neysa are, I think, gone from the stables. Jah-Lila doesn't count, as she can make her own decisions.
Those who work/volunteer in the stables who have replied to my queries show a consensus for willingness to help get the horses back.
Because my ability to be online tonight will be constrained, I will be Millitiming a comment to the quake post with the gist being that Caspian had taken Kiseki out for a ride and comes back when he feels the tremors. He will be putting up announcements so that those who work in the stables will know to seek him out for instructions and for anyone who would like to volunteer in repairing to be able to get in touch with him.
If your character works in the stables: By all means, have them notice the quake/aftereffects. If you would like to send them off to start rounding up horses on their own, be my guest, only please leave a note at the least for Caspian.
If you have chosen to let your horse roam free: It is up to you whether they cause more mischief or if you have certain people that you would want to have regain them. I will be following the instructions already given me for some of the horses allowed to escape.
Roger and I have, I think, come to an agreement about how much damage the stables will/could realistically sustain, so look at this as an opportunity to deal with something new that could really bring various Bar denizens closer together, or could throw some together who might not meet otherwise, and isn't that the whole point of the game?
If you have any questions, comments, or concerns, please reply here or email me at aria dot marier at gmail dot com.
